I never got math. My brain seems not wired for it. But in my first high school art class, my teacher pointed out that our normal field of vison is defined by some functions of Phi, and that the reason the Parthenon is so striking is that it fits within that limit.

Of course, your comments are more enthralling than was the art teacher's.
