Though I haven't really watched the show so thorough,I think the cancellation of this show is really unfair to the cast and crew of The Beautiful Life. As much as I like CW, but they left a bad mark in cancelling the show with 2 episodes alone as bases. I love the plot, the setting, the characters! Please please give this show another chance, 2011 is the best year for its return. Haha.

The show was originally on The CW. It aired for 2 episodes and was cancelled due to poor ratings. Ashton Kutcher, the executive producer decided to put it on Youtube because fans wanted to see the unaired episodes. HP sponsored for the remaining episodes to be aired on YouTube. Apparently, if the reception is good enough there might be a chance the show will continue.

It was cancelled due to poor ratings. The show was the last to be picked up for the fall lineup and had little to no promotion because it was spent on The Vampire Diaries and the new Melrose Place. With this said, there are circulating rumours that the unaired episodes of TBL might be shown on the CW during the Summer.

You simply can't slam personal opinion. We all have different tastes. I think TBL had an extraordinary concept but the way it was executed was a bit bland in the pilot but you can't judge a series after seeing 1 or 2 episodes. I'd hate for Gossipgirl to be judged on that cliche-infested pilot.

Bad writing plus bad acting equals crap( in my view). But youre right, some people dont care how poor the dialogue is or how weak the actors are because they only focus on the style points- is she/he really pretty ( do they look the part) , the outfits etc.

But since my main focus is the strength of the performance as well as plot, a show like this drains me of my will to live as it is so painfully lacking in both.

I think its the promotional coverage for TBL was mind blowingly disappointing because it was the last show to be picked up for the season. If I was the CW, I wouldn't even consider cancelling TBL after a season because of Mischa Barton, Elle McPherson and Corbin Bleu.
