  • Mebay sem maqam sonata moon

  • More of this!!!

    watch?v=W3iuUWSYomA&feature=related

  • Nice John. The camera gives a nice birds eye view of rest / free stroke.

  • i agree, Drum. A metronome would ruin this one.

  • Nice :) Trying to learn this myself so having this pop up in the sub box was cool :D

  • I'm a big fan of your stuff. But the beginning felt a little shakey tempo wise. It might have been a stylistic choice or something, I don't know, but it didn't quite flow as nice as your other songs, just at the beginning. The rest of it was awesome though. I'm still a huge fan.

  • @DrumEnforcer Thanks for being a fan!!! ...I will continue to work on this song.

  • @johnclarkemusic Yea you better... like... straighten up... and fly right... boyee... lol

  • @alohaolamele haha! I know! Right?!

  • @DrumEnforcer Some songs aren't meant to be perfected, you have to play them with your heart and your soul :)

  • I won't be popular... and I feel really bad about this... but I have to say what I feel... It wasn't good. Watch this piece by Per Olov Kindgren or Ana Vidovic and get what I mean... It's not like you, it's not like John Clarke. After this, I watched the "With Love" video ( watch?v=IZq4V8FMghI ) Is it really the same man? In this video, I felt like you really need to practice with a metronome.. a lot. But it's a nonsense, the John Clarke I know from the old videos doesn't need anything like this

  • @Szten I am not a classically trained guitarist...I never studied in a conservatory, and I am mostly self-taught. So I am a very different type of musician. I know what you mean though, I think there are times when I have played this song much better, but that was when a camera wasn't rolling.

  • so nice, thank you

  • Yes! that was lovely to watch and listen to, well done! :-)

    Harrry

  • can you make a tutorial on how to make the light box? please? :]

  • master

  • I missed you soooo much!!@$#@!@ glad to see a new vid =D

  • this song is very hard to play.i hope i will learn it one day.

check out the version from per-olov kindgren

  • Beautiful as always.

  • thumbs up if you had an orgasm :D

  • you finally did what i ask ♥ (cavatina)

  • you're soooooooooo good!! :)

  • every time I see one of your videos I just keep sitting in front of my computer in awe, thank you for making my day =)

  • your guitar doesn't seem to ring out as good :s

  • I've lost my voice... It remember me some beautiful Steve Hackett (Genesis) pieces... You've put a lot of emotion in it, thank you John...

  • Very nice. :)

  • ART

thanks john for sharing us once again the wonders of true music

    hope you will keep uploadinhg

    question:

    what is your main style?

    and:

while im playinhg im putting my pinky on the tapping plate is this a bad habbit or that it shouldnt bother me?

(you can see what i mean in my vids)

  • @AmitZuker I know what you mean, I do the same thing. The only disadvantage I see with it, is that you have one less finger to play, so you won't be able to do that if you want to play songs that require you to use all of your fingers. On the other side, if I don't actually need it, I find it gives me more stability. But in the long run I think I should lose the habbit :(

  • @steve63457

It doesnt bother me playing rasgeados if you know what this is

but when I want to play things like recuerdos de la alhambra

or pieaces with tremolo on 2nd or 3rd string it makes crunch noises and the sound is not clean or maby that can be connected to the nails?

    defenitly it gives stability

    sorry for my English...

  • What kind of strings do you play with?

I want some strings for my classical acoustic but nylon sound real flat these sound real sharp and crisp

  • I love this I love it thank u for sharing

  • Nicely done AGAIN!

I might learn it as well :)

  • this is my favorite finger picking song. make a tutorial for it please :)

  • beautiful. what else is there to say?
