  • the music scares me like crap.

  • @HysteriumMMXI It's ok, just overcome your irrational fears

  • i used to get creeped out by these types of feature presentation logos years ago, and actually, I'm still scared of them. In fact, as a kid, if I were sitting on the floor in my room near my bed, I used to be afraid of the purple version of this Feature presentation logo hiding behind on one corner of the bed and the 90s Walt Disney Home Video logo on the other. Not that I THOUGHT that, I was just afraid.

  • I immediately expect the old Walt Disney Pictures theme to play right after this. (Kind of like how you expect the Star Wars fanfare right after the 20th Century Fox theme)

  • @HysteriumMMXI I actually was inspired from movies. I still have my dream of becoming a Director/Producer/and Writer of my own film studio. But it's not just film and technology.

  • OMG!!THE MUSIC SCARES ME!!!!!

  • Paramount one is scarier

  • I remember as a little kid, I was sleeping over my cousin`s house, and I was watching this movie in the playroom basement with all the lights off. (Note - I didn't own the 1999 The Rescuers VHS yet) I was so scared of this, since I was so used to the light blue version!

  • As scary as the Paramount feature presentation screen.

  • Thee musicc is too creepyy to mee...

  • @ALiYYAH1995 YEAH DONT GO WALKIN IN THE NIGHT CUZ YOU WILL MIGHT SEE IT IN THE DARK IN RED WORDS WITH THE SCARY HORRIBLE MUSIC!

  • Edna w Or Fitsir Prezentasone

  • This guy could calm anyone down even if he was raping them

  • rare

  • Cool

  • The music gives me the creeps!

  • This was taken from all Disney VHS tapes back in the 90's along with the light blue version, but the music sounded familiar to the bumper used on WPIX-TV's "Movie Greats" that "tapthatt2012" posted. They first used the bumper music during a commercial break before they used the same variation of the music for the "Feature Presentation" bumper.

  • used only in 1992

  • this sometimes give me nightmares

  • I did the regular version of this logo, but cut the fanfare and added the Barbour/Langley jingle from the end of COPS. I did it to the 1994 logo too.

  • This logo can sure scare the living shit outta me.

  • @dweiner2 that screen scared my SOOOOO much as a kid

  • I hated disney for tramatizing me with this, up until I was five they played their VHS previews with this haunting 'before the film' thing. O_O

  • This blue color is spooky!!!!

  • This Feature Presentation Screen Is So Dark And Loud!

  • @FamilyGuyFanatic800 I Would Say In 1992 For Disney's The Rescuers After The Great Mouse Detecitive.

  • I was watching this in the dark and all it did was scare the living daylights out of me.

  • This logo gives me the hiccups.

  • 1992.

  • This one is ultra rare since it only appears on The Rescuers Walt Disney Classics VHS

  • @livinlarge18 Yeah, and what's even worse was that after this played, the Walt Disney Classics logo played - with distorted music, due to a video processing error. In fact, the distorted version was on WDC videos from that point onward.

I'm glad I didn't encounter the Navy Blue variant, I think the original is creepy enough.

  • I'll upload the higher quality version of the lilac logo as soon as I have it downloaded & edited.

  • GREAT QUALITY!!

  • They should make a video of Osuka going "OH MAH GAH" to the tune.

  • *sighs* Feels like yesterday when I first saw this, especially when I saw "The Lion King"

  • SSSSSSSSSSSPOOKY!

  • Johnny Depp Voiceover the Feature Presentation Logo

  • Can someone please tell me what the name of the background musical fanfare is? I've been dieing to know for at least 8 years.

  • @FamilyGuyFanatic800 It's a variation of an original music used on WPIX-TV's "Movie Greats" and "Movie Matinee" bumpers when it was used for a commercial break back in the mid to late 80's before they used that one. "tapthatt2012" posted that bumper as well.

  • The FP logo jingle sounds like the Rocky theme song.

  • Awesome...nostalgia~!!

  • OMG The Disney feature presentation :) The voice is the best :)

  • maybe this music is made from the 1970s

  • after the logo came thx, that thing with the theater home mix, that made a rising sound, it gave me nighmares, it scared me so bad...

  • I thought that the announcer was supposed to be a congragation.

  • I dont know why, but this logo scares the crap outta me! Its bcuz of how surprising it is! And the creepy letter fonts dont help either.

  • you're not alone, when i was younger, I always had my parents fast forward through the previews while I hid in their room, I didn't even want to look at the logo!

  • wow, and i thought i was insane lol. But its not just the FP logo, theres the others w/ the same music and lettering that appear really fast and loud, it gives me a heart attack. Thank goodness they dont use em on todays dvds.

  • yah i don't why is was so loud i guess they REALLY wanted you to hear it

  • Cursive is creepy to you? XD

  • no im fine with cursive, its the way how these bumpers freak me out; the music, weird voice and words slowly scribbling itself! *shudder*

  • @Luffyrulz09 But will you say that the Lorimar "Line of Doom" logo is worse?

  • And guys, just to let you all know, this FP, the 1999-2006 logo, or even the "alternate" 1994-2000 "Flashbang" logo didn't appear on JUST Dinsey releases., this logo among the other two can be seen on other Buena Vista subsidiary releases, such as releases from Hollywood Pictures, Miramax Films, Touchstone Pictures, and so on.

  • This was THE first Feature Presentation logo in the "script" font, introduced in 1991. Beginning in 1992, the better known variant with the purple background was used from then until 1999.

  • With a different man saying stuff beginning in '96. :P

  • I've never seen much of this varian anymore besides the 1992 release of The Rescuers? Why did it stop?

  • Besides The Rescuers 1992 VHS, were there any other Walt Disney Home Video cassette tapes that have this variant?

  • nope only appeared on The Rescuers

  • This logo is INSANELY EVIL, but I love it! :D

  • 1991 Feature Presentation Logo (Cerulean Blue) Variant

  • scares the living crap!

  • me too! I turned off my volume after like two seconds!

  • No it doesn"t. Well, maybe for some people it does, but I've seen this logo many times and so I am used to it.

  • @scatandpounce Scares me too, right??

  • Taken from the 1992 VHS of "The Rescuers"

  • @kungfujiapple Yep! I have this VHS tape, and it was the first one to use the "Feature Presentation" bumper rather than the gold version. The gold "Feature Presentation" bumper came before that.

  • This was only shown once.

  • I mean't what year was this first used.

  • 1992

  • What exact year was this?

  • no exact year

  • This the 1992 variant only seen on The Rescuers

  • 1992

  • I thought it was always in 1992.

  • I thought they only did that in 1992.

  • @RandomVideos81813 thats 1992 used for the rescuers tape

  • @RandomVideos81813 wait! i know what exact year that was in. 1992. This Midnight Blue Feature Presentation logo was found in the 1992 vhs of the rescuers.

  • @RandomVideos81813 I'll Tell! 1992.

  • I thought this was particularly from 1992.

  • @RandomVideos81813 Wait! I know what year this was in! It was in 1992, and it only premieres at the beginning of the rescuers.
