  • Lol Adam ur so small definately think u should do a sequal

  • Did anybody notice the continuity error? (backpack goes missing after the whack in the face by the door)

  • I played Duncan and I got into acting because of this so I'm glad I did it( don't worry, they aren't really that mean)

  • hi dad

  • So wait... Where is the red phone? Everyone who claims to be a "Finalist" has no red phone.

  • This film was a finalist in last years competition. That's why there is no red phone in this and probably the others you've seen. Check the upload dates. Cheers

  • Wonderful opening sequence!!!

  • haha, I knew he was dating Stacey. Some friend. And poor Duncan. It's tough being a little brother, I guess. Anyway, great job. I really liked it. Though the acting isn't fantastic, it's still good.

  • Worth it for the opening credit sequence alone.

  • poor duncun!!

  • i feel bad 4 da little kid

  • I didn't think the acting was too horrendous. Could have been a bit better, but honestly, for never having acted before, and compared to the average person, this was really good and I liked it. Poor Duncan hehe.

  • lol.

  • That was great, lmao...I love the kid who plays duncan.

  • omg =o i dont think it was bad acting wtf

  • umm wat was the POINT of the story?

  • exactly

  • This Was Poorly Acted And Written but the little dude was ok and while filming never ever go errrrrrr

  • Thanks, I appreciate your comment. These boys have never acted before and given that the whole thing was written by them and filmed within an hour and a half, I think they can be very proud of being selected as finalists.

  • i geuss i can give them some credit but i thought as this was entered in a comp then it would be by people who have acted before

  • ahaha

  • the best actor was definitely the little one

  • i didnt understand half the words which was funny(in a not so typical kinda way). i just thought it was a little wierd that the older one was going out with a 7(ok maybe more in the 10 range)crush. but very funny so as u english people say asta la vista baby(spanish i kno but forgot what u people say)

  • I nsay chuddy to!

Where ya from no1 even understands wot I mean!

  • Really good video! Thumbs up!

  • Great video, by the way.

  • Two redheads on the same movie? What are the odds?! LOL

  • That's because they really are brothers.

  • Who are we running from?

    You!

  • lol

    funneh ^^

    England looks nice

  • Who R We Runnin From?

    You!

    Lol That Was Fab =]

  • Chuddy is used mainly in liverpool / manchester area, and i live in manchester and head it alot.

So im guessin u live there or your northern wannabe's

  • England really is this exciting.

  • To be honest i think this was poorly acted, cant see what all the fuss is about...

    But good try

  • chuddy is used mainly in the north west area where the one and only michael lives(me)lol

  • I'm just wondering were you come from because the dialect is similar to my area. I've even heard chuddy been used before.

  • Lol I think this is actuallu quite funny... made me laugh anyways.. mabye not for the right reasons though xD

  • aw feel sori 4 da wee guy lol!

  • lol at the interpretation of what "kids" talk about lololol xD but yeh its good kinda

  • Great film, well made. Hope that you do well in Project Direct. When PD is over could you continue this film, I'd like to see the end result.

PS how you do the shot of them running up the hill, how do you "glide the camera up the hill at their speed?

  • a bike ya pillock

  • nice filmin. but the story is a bit vauge

  • It's a nice start, but honestly not that great a film. I liked your editing style, but that's as far as it goes for me, I'm afraid. Get a writer, some decent actors, and see how it goes.

  • Great video, I love the credits!! Well played.

I have made an animation called It's Only Love. I'd love it if you gave it a watch.

  • Good video :D I know how hard it is to film and edit a video like this... I rated it 5 to balance the ratings, as 3 is a bit unfair

  • cool

  • this is england right

  • this is cool

  • Cute. The redhead is adorable. Are these Yorkshire accents? I'm bad at my dialects.

  • Thanks! (I'm his mum!!)

  • By the way, yes they are Yorkshire accents

  • Hehe. He's a cutie patoodie. I had a little sis and we used to do this, too. She was cuter than me, though, and always knew how to get me in trouble. :)

  • you could tell they were brothers :) cute.

  • As the voting on Project Direct nears its end, can I just thank anyone who has voted for 'Three's a Crowd.' My sons and my nephew (average age of 12) who wrote and acted the whole thing in about 3 hours have had a blast just being selected for the final 20. Thanks to anyone who said anything positive to encourage the possible film makers of the future!! (Just in case anyone is wondering, the director/ cameraman was well over 18!)

  • nice work! I loved it!

  • The intro was great, the rest needed some work.

Great camera-work though. and good luck!

  • Cool vid. When the music played, the entire time I was thinking, "This sounds like Incompetech.", which is awesome.

  • Again, steve2007...great job. I'm giving you my vote. (Just LOVE that intro!)

  • Just wanted to say thanks for your comment. I've been on holiday, hence the delay in responding.

Life is good when you have Fun !

  • Your opening is cool and I love the little kid. A Natural and funny too "that's not even close to my name!" :)

Check out mine if you have a chance - and good luck!

  • Nice casting. Great job and good luck. Very fun opening!

    Cheers

  • Opening sequence is brilliant. Good use of a relatively simple concept. Music really worked for it, too.

  • favorite one so far.

you should go check out mine.

  • Like the intro and the kids are natural, but the delevery of the line with the sheningan was awakward, but better than the others in the competition.

  • Good luck! Check out my entry: "Package for Maxwell"

  • overall this is the best one in the competition so far. simple. clever. great characters. natural acting. g'luck.

  • Great line "that doesn't even sound like my name" it gave me a good chuckle. Nice camera placement.

If you get a chance let me know what you think about my short.

    -Carlos

  • I love this. It has a 'Gregory's Girl' feel about it that's really appealing. Well shot and well edited - well done!

  • Duncan was awesome!

  • this one is the winner in my book. PERIOD. bar none.

    the best.

    sniffle.

  • i love the feel of this one. and these kids are adorable!

  • Awesome INTRO! "what are we running from" ....."you" love that scene. Good luck with the competition. Check out mine if you have time.

  • Poor Derek... I mean Duncan.

I'll repeat what many more said that the intro sequence was a great idea!

    Nicely done.

  • How do you submit your movie to the film festival??? Do you just upload it write (Project Direct) next to the title? thanks

  • type "project direct film challenge" into the search. Its the first video listed. Just click through to it's home page and look for the "submit" button. Good luck!

  • Thank you very much man!!! I like your video, there are a few places that you should trim a bit, but overall it is great. The colors and the story and the acting is very nicely done. I am a film major ;-) Good luck!!!!

  • Pretty good, Nice quality, Good actors, nice intro scene...the english killed it....OrVua!

  • good video, good story, funny caracters, the only problem is indeed the accents ( I understood them 'cause I'm used to it , but americans won't).

  • I'm pretty gosh darn American, and I fully understood it.

  • I'm American, too, and I had no problem with the accents. I doubt most Americans would. Geez, give us some credit.

...Haven't you seen how popular the Harry Potter movies are here?

Okay, just kidding on that last. :P

  • sounds from the cars were a bit loud and sometimes covered up the audio. Also in parts of your audio, there are hard cuts, try cross fades as it won't sound quite as jumpy. I agree cappisays, the hard cut is good. I actually like this story line better than a the others I've seen

  • Poor Duncan!

  • This had a great opening. Liked the hard cut just after the shenanigans line. Nice!

  • great opening scene

  • The video was well directed. I couldn't understand parts of the dialouge because I'm American. Pretty good.
