@dangermous1968 Here in Phoenix....everybody is freaking Mexican! Even a good percentage of the cops. Seriously, It's not like they are an oppressed minority. Many schools are 80%+ Latino. Nobody is stopped for being brown around here because the cops would never get anything done if that was the case.
The letter was probably at least overblown, but the attitude does exist. I've heard "kill the Gringos" shouted more times than I care to recount. Anti- American graffiti all over the place.

"Mexican" is nationality, not a race. This issue is not about neither racism nor is it about hatred, it's about national sovereignty. The illegals crossing over from Mexico far outnumber the illegals from elsewhere around the world. Not only that, but the Mexican gov't ENCOURAGES and PROMOTES their people to jump the border since incoming USD is the 3rd major stream of revenue after petrol & narcotics sales.

Sounds like a substitute teacher who cant maintain classroom discipline. If this women read a little about the Mexican War, shed know it was a war of choice and of conquest so the charge of stealing the land has a reasonable basis in fact. It is interesting that one poster referenced the Civil War. The Mexican War was seen by many including John Quincy Adams and Abraham Lincoln as a land grab to help spread slavery and, in fact, led directly to the sectional conflict that caused the Civil War.
