Are you suggesting the mighty Het should have been SOBERLY CORRECT with this song? I myself would never insult the Irish so badly as to get this song perfectly, soberly right. What a silly idea you have.
The mobile didn't help but the quality of sound at that concert was horrific. I was there and anytime Hetfield would start singing either the PA speakers couldn't handle all the sounds or they lowered the sounds of the instruments the minute it would get too much for the speakers so you could hear Hetfield in some clarity. It was a fantastic concert but horrific sound.
Thin Lizzy don't play this on tour? The current incarnation plays this as their opener, if that counts... as for Metallica wasn't this a single a few years ago?
they only played this in ireland - i think they played a cover towards the end of each set that was most relevant to the place they are playing the gig in, so ireland obviously is whiskey in the jar :P
na i wouldnt agree with that statement, i think they paly it now after the crowed near wrecked the place when they didnt play it in 03! i was there, i was ragging! lol
