Why did music have to get so messed up? this iis jus to show u that good music still exists. this is truly from the streets. im a nyc rapper n this is the way we use to do it. 4 guys would harmonize while one does the beat box n thee rest would just5 freestyle n snap our fingers. i love doo wop. great post. this is the streets at itz best.

@sleepytimegalz I was thinking the same thing...how do these people just walk by these guys who absolutely sing great.......and not give them something for their talent......yes...they are braindead my friend!

I'm from Spain and here's there's no tradition of people singing on streets. And even caring for doo wop or harmonizing, so it's terrific to be able to see this. Many thanks for uploading it :-)
btw is this more or less common in NYC? If I make a trip to there is still doo wop movement/events I could enjoy? Thanks for any tip/info
I've sat here and watched this five times in a row. Absolutely beautiful and perfect. A capella doo wop is the sweetest, purest music. No autotuners, no studio effects. Just perfect harmonizing and vocal talent. I love these guys
Man do I miss this, 3000 miles away and 50 years past, these guy's bring me right back to my harmonizing days on the Brooklyn street corners of Canarsie. Awesome sound guy's. Thanks for sharing.
God's greatest gift . . . the Human Voice. These guys really have their harmony down. In NYC you're subject to see a singer or singers on the street or in the subways. Some are excellent.
