how to connect sqr server to visual studio ....or express...?it either gives an error for upgrading sqr server 2005...while i have 2008 express..>!

and sometimes it gives an error for user instance.......:(...

i have been trying it for over few days...:(

@leotakesleo Sorry I missed your question. You should be able to connect. You can either use the machine name or . (period) if it local.

@baghul Exactly yes!, and its big question for me 'How'? can you please help me how to do it. I am working now in a big company and I have project to make a refer a friend system using Visual studio to sell in market. I am using MS Access database for almost 3 years but I need SQL for this project. Help is very much appreciated :)
