When a legal police contact is made - ID not shown to be valid - follow what the law dictates, leading to deportation. #2. Crime will go down, saving more money, as will businesses that will hire those that will be paying taxes instead of getting paid under the table. Last year the US made over one million immigrants into citizens. This is more then any other country in the world and probably at least equal to all other countries of the world when it comes to granting citizenship to immigrants. @DarwinsFriend The state will not have to raise taxes to support the effects of 1070, in fact it will save them a ton of money. More legals will be working instead of being on the dole. Crime will go down, saving more money, as will businesses that will hire those that will be paying taxes instead of getting paid under the table. You need to look at the economics of the big picture instead of all your nit-picky little issues.

Last year the US made over one million immigrants into citizens. This is more then any other country in the world and probably at least equal to all other countries of the world when it comes to granting citizenship to immigrants. This does not count the huge number of legal immigrants who get visas each year. If you support 1070 then you are promoting the removal of illegals that do as mentioned above. That helps people of all races, and legals will get many of the illegals jobs, thereby reducing the expense to AZ and its citizens.
