Skin effect does not affect DC electricity. With 60cy/sec AC electricity it only applies to the outer 1/3 inch of the wire, so anything up to 400MCM is not affected.
You have a great selection of Dewalt tools. I broke down and bought a 9pc 18V dewalt set when I was installing overhead garage doors and have just expanded the set when I need a tool as you can buy a tool by itself pretty cheap since I already have 4 chargers and a dozen batteries.
HI, thanks for sharing that video clip, nice. Please check out my videos and channel if you like GREEN ENERGY. On Earthday 2010 my invention won a green design award. :)
you are the man thank you for showing your good work you should make a detailed instruction dvd for building a system like this thank you and God Bless
are them xantrex units are they the ones with the chargers built in or just strait through units I am looking at putting in a couple of them and wondering which to go with
@davevanden1 Hey Dave They do not have chargers built in. I did that because I want to charge batterys with solar and wnd with my inverters in standby.
WOW! Holy cow man, your wiring is awesome. And very clean and professional looking. You must have been doing this or a while. I just picked up a 250w micro grid tide inverter. I've had it connected or about 6 days now. And it works very well. I think when my system grows up, it will want to be like yours. Later from sunny FL
Are those invertors wired in series? So, would wiring invertors in series sum the amps and watts?
