yeah i actually got into For Today after i made this video. August Burns Red is good but with them its like all about the breakdowns it seems. To me the best ones are when they throw them in a few songs on an album instead of like 4 in each track lol

yeah i got it too! pretty sick altho meddler is by far NOT my favorite track. seems more hype than anything - that song at least. but the ending is brutal! VIDEO THO IS SICK! love Meddler video lol. Thirty and Seven, Ocean of Apathy, Marianas Trench, and Crusades are prolly my favs. Altho the ENTIRE thing is wicked insane.

nope no DH. i like their earlier stuff most. with Jesse drumming. yogi is good but just dont care for it. I own all DH cds but DH and SOD are my fav. DH doesnt make this vid and most other christian metal breakdown videos simply because they dont have very many good breakdowns. simply put lol

Totally agree, they have good music but no breakdowns. But if that is your standard then you have to have some new Haste the Day. I listen to them strictly because they have a sick breakdowns on nearly every track. (ie. Madman from Dreamer)

not a fan of new HTD either. just started goin down for me after their old vox left and did trenches. thats why old haste the day is on here. old breakdowns are way better than new. dont get me wrong i like some of the new songs like Babylon, The Dry Season, Chorus of Angels but its just not the same for me w/o Jimmy Ryan. cool band just not HTD for me. and now that like only an original guitarist remains its like a totally diff line up. new vox, drummer, guitarist...bassist? i think.

idk i just really liked the song when i made it. Burning Bridges is best and WEF is really good, but their latest efforts just aren't the same. can't get into em. couple songs off PTH (Chorus of Angels and The Dry Season) are the only new ones i care for much except maybe Babylon off Dreamer. pig squealing is def not my fav style of vox but i get used to it and dont mind as long as its not throughout the entire song. like with blood comes cleansing. and Impending Dooms new CD cleans up the vox a lot so you might like that one better. thanks for watching!

Wow, so many great bands! I love how we have these great bands that many might think arent portraying the right message, yet if you just listen, they are some of the most beautiful songs of worship. Ive always been a fan of Metal music, and I listend to some Christian metal in the past (Zao, living sacrifice, embodyment) I had no idea that there were so many more. And now that Ive been saved, I really want to take the time to find some more great Christian Metal bands. Thanks for the video!

Hmmm...most were good, but Showdown's wasn't even really a breakdown. Either that or you and I consider breakdowns different things altogether.

Overall though, many of those bands (LS, SE, ABR, AILD etc.) are amazing, and I can't wait for Living Sacrifice's new album.!
