hi , i heard that this piano makes a really loud plastic snap back sound when you let go of the key, is this right ? because i'm thinking of getting one
I've been looking for a digital piano to purchase, i want to learn how to play and this piano interests me, but there is one problem with it i think i would find annoying.. there is a noise after you press a key, the tooth bouncing up. In the video you can hear it at 1:40 to 1:50 quite clearly. Does it make much of a difference playing?
HI! great effort and you are playing very well too but why are you not reading and playing? Somebody told me that if you need to learn piano you need to learn to read music, isnt it so?
Nice! It took you 3-4 weeks? Wow, you are a fast learner... it took me about a year to learn it...lol.. not kidding :) But you did good. Keep practising the fast parts and you will do great! Good job!
aww you r very good 4 a beginner :) i want to learn piano and just yesterday i saw this casio and thought i'd buy it :) how long did it take u 2 learn this song?it' s quite hard xx
That's good for a beginner! You should really ask for quick advice from a piano teacher or a classical pianist because of one thing: your posture and the position of your arms and hands, which looks a bit awkward, as if you were stretching to reach the keys from above. The height of your stool should be such that, when you sit upright and put your arms in a 90º angle close to your body, your hands fall naturally over the keys. If that means getting closer to the piano, by all means do it! (:
I don't know for how much long you learned piano... Still it was a good rendition. It's a quite a difficult song to learn as beginner, because of the faster parts... You should try to learn much more easier songs and you should even try to search a band to play with... It will help you tremendously! :) Keep up the good work.
well, i got this piano from november 08, and thios song i have learnd for 3-4 weeks(15-30 minuts per day) sometimes not each day. and this is my first sirious performance.
i did lean easyer songs before but it was nothing special.
i also work on "moonlight sonata" but it seems to be more hard to me than this :)
soon ill record that too but must work on it first

Just bought this keyboard for my daughter. I showed her this video. She said she wants to post a video once she learns a song. Thanks.

im sure you did reasearch before buying. why did you choose cdp100 over px130?
beingbanana 2 years ago 3
It was on sale.
stevecraig09 2 years ago
for how much?
beingbanana 2 years ago
300 at guitar center after thanksgiving day sale
stevecraig09 2 years ago
Probably because of the price. I'm looking for a piano too, this cdp 100 seems like a good price range for me. Compared to 350$ to 500$.
TheChiefsDude 2 years ago
px130 is probably better but costs alot more , i've found it just as cheap but I'm not sure until you buy it
Swanny54321 2 years ago
@beingbanana
the px130 is loads more expensive, and he's just a beginner.
YPSChauhan 1 year ago
@beingbanana well, for one, it now is 100 dollars less cheaper.
TheTrollAmongUs 1 year ago
@beingbanana maybe because the px130 is out of his budget.

can u tell me how's the cdp 100 i want to buy it ...
Sounds really cool in here, digital but cool
How many voices, hammer action, sensitive etc etc...
Well done by the way keep on it
DahnnYBGoode 2 years ago
well, it was cheapest digital piano i could buy(new of course) but anyway im very happy.
5 voices, hammer present, more infos you can find on official website of casio.
if it would be your first piano its worth, but if not then look for a yamaha(mine next probably)
jerzukszyk 2 years ago
hum, I'm in need of a piano too lol, right now i'm using a keybord, but it sounds more like a doorbeel then a piano : \
