looks really cool, crossfire from cod4 is one of my favorite maps in any multiplayer FPS ever, it's simple yet awesome for all kinds of purposes, that map has everything. Looks like a nice remake, I'm thinking of buying FC2 for X360

not on buildings. you can customize the textures of the ground and other geographical features though. all the textures are pre-made, cant create your own, at least not in the console version...i'm sure there is probably a way to mod it on PC though.

It does somewhat resemble crossfire, but I have to admit, it somewhat looks more african/tropical. I would use the colonial building set mixed with the urban building set to get a closer look to the map, also, there were no trees in Crossfire. That is my constructive criticism.

its supposed to be "like" Crossfire. The trees are there to provide cover becuase every roof is accessible, with out them people would just fight rooftop to rooftop.

lol you didn't delete the grass out the buildings. took me a while to figure it out. but what you have to do is paint a completely different type of grass over the bits you don't want, then clear it. hope that helps ;)

i have since figured this out. you actually have to select the terrain effect you want removed then use L2 to delete.

eh, as a remake of crossfire, it is not very good, sure the basic layout is the same. but the scale is way off, and there isnt nearly as much of a hill on your map compared to crossfire. As its own map though, it looks pretty good, nice aesthetics, good amount of cover, but it just isnt a very good copy of crossfire

there is a reason its called Crossfire +, it was intended to be about twice the size of the COD4 map. I see what your saying though, scale is very difficult to do in FC2 because obviously the buildings are different. Also terrain is difficult becuase if you make hills with steep grades the buildings wont sit correctly, even with the relatively low grades i have in the map some buildings have corners in the air, or sections slightly underground. thanks for the constructive critque though.

i use a Dazzle Digital Video Recorder, and Pinnacle 12 Plus editing software. There are many vids on Youtube that show how to use one, check them out :)
