  • What a miracle from the Lord of Hosts! Where is he now?

  • Great playing, the triplet half notes in the finale were a bit off but still great!

  • I felt that baba yaga was a bit too fast... But I suppose thats why they call it an interpretation. Nevertheless, great playing.

  • another "prodigy"?! there are millions of them in China and Japan... Boring..

  • @Sprengladung

Just because someone can play a difficult piece doesn't automatically make them a prodigy.....

  • @keetner That's what I'm talking about..

  • c'est ce que l'on appelle un surdoué

  • for someone with small hands, he tackles the octaves in Baba Yaga incredibly. you better pray to never end up in the same competition as this kid in a few years!

  • This boy's playing with tremendous expression! Take the jealousy plugs out of your ears and then listen.

  • Először is ez egy könnyített változat, csak a süket nem hallja, másrészt pedig nem kevés mellé ütés van benne...

  • he's a student of Hochschule fur musik und theater Hannover and his teacher is the great Vladimir Krainev

  • Excellent playing

  • it comes from where ?

country, parents (I hope they are terrestrian and not aliens)

    who teaches him ?

what are his plans? i hope concert pianist, I need some of this genre

  • OMG! Breathtaking is the only word I can come up with.

  • No one of you saw that de hut of baba-yaga is accelerat... look at his shirt, his moving to fast for being in real-time....

  • It's called a shitty camera.

  • FREEEEAAAAAKKKK!!!! that was savage... little bugger, i wish i could do that...

I do feel happy about one thing though... I bet he cant make all the left hand stretches in Tuilleries and the one in Catacombae :D muahaha I can!!

...unfortunately he'll probably be able to in like 2 years :(

  • Yes its war without humanity - shock and awe

  • is this going faster than it should?

  • sorry its the picture 9... '^^ sorry

  • It is the picture 2 not the 10.

But the version is fabulous. Youre sure he's twelve?

  • His hands....they're moving so fast...wow. :O

  • cool, a new japanese robot ?

  • @KingOfBug

I'm pretty sure they aren't Japanese...

  • youthful passion and vigor united to a mature mastery - what a joy

  • sped up much?

  • Someone suggests this player has 'potential'. Well, artists can always improve, but this one is already speaking with some authority.

Another suggests he needs to find more 'feeling'. Maybe - but what we hear now is no mere purveyor of notes. I sense great passion and understanding in his playing.

When a 12-yo youngster plays like this, it seems to me that he exalts our species: the wisdom of ages is already evident in his music, and we should be grateful for his industry and talent.

  • i cant get enough of this song!! this child is so inspiring! all young children should watch him

  • what version is this?

  • Very excellent technical ability, there is real talent there. Much more feeling needs to go into the music, but that will come with age.

  • everybody keeps saying this kid is good "for his age". the kid would be good if he was 50!!

JeeZ did you hear him play appasionata's

3rd mov't. sure he could be better just as anyone can. he's going to progress but he's already at mastery status. if he progresses anymore he just be above mastery. who gives a fuck about dynamics anyway as long as it doesnt interfere with the tempo.

he's got the technical shit on lock, the rest is just sensitivity, basically easy stuff

  • Yes! Sure beats what I was doing when I was 12.

  • Mechanized hands

  • his hand moves very busy

  • Holey moley! Nice job kid!

  • 0_0 really talented

  • ./,l;'

  • he is so good!

  • Haha his hands are too small for some of the chords. He will pwn n00bs when he is older.

  • In 2009 there are many international music competitions. I would be glad to see him in some of them. He will reach the minimum age to the participation...

  • this dude has great potential...

  • omg

  • Encore bravo, merci a toi! je n'en reviens toujours pas...

  • omfg...i cant belive what i see!!his technique impresses me but i dont really feel anything.i bet he'll do great in the future. keep going boy!!

  • I agree, listen to him playing the Chopin fantasy.

  • I would agree. Techincally brilliant, but expressivly lacking. As one of my music teachers used to remark, "If you can't hear the notes neither can the audience". I think he has a (understandable) juvenile urge to play faster just because he can. Give him a few years and he will be a household name without a doubt.

  • @ViolaDamore

    i totally agree :D

  • Technically brilliant for his age, however, he has no idea what this piece means, he plays it with no maturity. If he kept going, I'm sure that would pass with young age, and he'll make an amazing pianist.

  • How can he play it maturely when he's not yet mature?

  • INGMAR LAZAR, is performing at the absolute upper edge of technique for someone his age.

It will be a pleasure to watch him further his skills as a musician.

  • you are fantastic, boy. I hope to see you once in our gigs :-)

  • woah... ok that was way too fast in the beginning. he is too young for that piece

  • boy, you are to young for this piece!! your technique is amazing and enough for this complicated piece, but not the knowledge and maturity! just learn and read, you will be a great pianist when you are older!!! go on and never stop learning! you are great!

  • slow down in the beginning lol i wanan make out the sounds

  • agreeed

  • I say it's a little rough around the edges. Pictures of an Exhibition is a very complicated piece with many dynamics

  • This kids amazing!!! heheheehe. bit rushed, especially in the transitions between themes in the great gates and the 2nd to last repeat in of the theme in the left hand was not prominent enough. But good on you bro!!

  • This kid is very good, but is quite immature in his interpretation, e.g., louds and softs are inconsistent; Grace notes not attacked quickly enough; a general feeling of disjointedness with no powerful resolve at the end. Yet, he'll be heard from. I'm not writing him off!

  • well said!

  • I DID say he'll be heard from, didn't I? I also said he was very good. That's a lot better than a lot of the TOTALLY negative comments on this classical ection of YOUTUBE.

  • omg! I could NEVER do this if I practiced this 24/7 for 100 years! LOL

WONDERFUL! BRAVO! And only 12! HOW do they DO it? I'm getting a headache just thinking about it. I wish it were moi.

    (^o^)

  • tres mature comme garcon

    lol

    francois

  • this kid is what makes me want to slap my parents in the face for not getting me piano lessons when i was a kid.

  • Right, mattthetrumpeter, a lot of parents deserve a slap for letting the youngsters get away with giving up playing (including mine) too easily. You can't give your children a better gift than this: mastering an instrument.

  • matthetrumpeter: Me too! (^o^)

I begged for piano lessons when I was young, but was told they couldn't afford it. Perhaps that was true, but now I'm struggling with the piano as an adult. I could also slap myself for not starting immediately after getting a job.

    :0((

  • amazing. God!!!

  • Simply Amazing kid.
