if the giant panda is starting to be extinct or is already begging to be i just suggest using IVF (in vitro fertilization) and take sperm from a male panda and implant it into a female panda

[i just just learned about the IVF thing in school about a few days ago and i would hate to see these lovely animals to be gone forvever]

I don't find them that cute (but that's my personal opinion). But I think giant pandas are a fail by nature. I don't say this to be mean but it's the truth. Their colors are completely bad for camouflage. Their diet consists of bamboo which has very little nutritional values and they actually prefer to EAT THAN HAVE MATE and reproduce. Even when they do try and mate, they fail to do so at a high rate. They also can't adapt to change very well like other animals. So yea, giant pandas fail.

why should they adapt to change? its the humans that should adapt to change around animals, not go in rip down habitats and destroy every thing in sight

Where did humans come into the picture? Giant Pandas were already dropping in numbers before people messed with them. And if it isn't true why do other animals still survive while the giant panda keeps dying.

The greatest threat to panda survival is the loss and degradation of its habitat. The panda's range is steadily shrinking as logging operations, many of them illegal move in. Pandas are also killed, as victims of poachers snares that are set for musk deer.

I know but what i'm saying is why did you say humans should be the ones to adapt? I wasn't talking about humans. I was talking about giant pandas. Also, if we stopped doing what we do you'd be crying your eyes out. "Oh the internet!" "oh my tv!!!". Trust me, you're being a hypocrite in this argument.

My tv? my computer? whats that got to do with ILEGAL logging sites? and hunting pandas?. if you are saying this because of climate change, tv's and computer equate to less than 2% of global warming. Humans need to adapt around animals because soon there wil be no animals left. Humans treat animals in the most apalling way, and while we all enjoy our lavish lifestyles it has to make way for other things which ultimatley destroy habitats.

you do know the animals we need to eat are actually not going extinct right? While we DO need animals to survive because the food chains will go all out of balance, there are few animals we DON'T need. And one of them is the Giant Panda. All they really do is eat Bamboo, mate, and die. And that's what I'm saying. When I talked about your tv and your computer I meant EVERYTHING that makes your life easier. Such as cars, paper, electronics, and others. Get what I'm saying?

I'm not saying we don't need to cut back on the Environmental destruction, you're totally right there. But it's too late now. People won't listen. All they care about is their own lives. And the sad part is, is that when you ask someone about how humans are going to die because they are destroying the Earth, they simply say "I'll be dead by then". That just shows how selfish people are. But It's too late for us to stop. Unless animals can somehow learn to adapt to our changes.

And that is something the Giant Panda isn't doing. I mean we can buy recycled items, we can stop using cars and other things that pollute the Earth but we will never win. The MAJORITY of the people don't really care. So it's either the Giant Panda adapts, or it perishes like the Moa bird did, the messenger pigeon, and how the Condor and Polar Bear are disappearing. And yes, the Giant Panda was a failure of Nature. All animals have the instinct to reproduce and survive and adapt.

While the Panda isn't focused on Reproducing, it isn't focusing on adapting. Just eating which is basically surviving. If it was better adapted it would get rid of its white fur and camouflage better with it's surroundings. But I guess it isn't its fault exactly because the things that control that are out of its control. But it could focus on reproducing every chance it gets instead of stuffing its face with bamboo. Don't just blame humans, blame yourself too because we aren't helping much.

Haven't you heard, man? They'd rather eat bamboo than mate. It's actually been recorded that they would rather just eat bamboo than mate with a potential mate, even when that potential mate is right next to them. And once they do mate, there's a high possibility that they failed to completely reproduce because they...well I don't want to get too graphical but lets just leave it at....he missed. Lol.
