Nope this is not sad at all. It's actually a good thing. This means that JaGex is really expanding. A gaming company is supposed to produce more games. It's kinda like how blizzard made a bunch of rts games. They aren't copying their own game just sticking with the genre.

RuneScape has died ever since the update of December 2007. This new game will be a blessing, IF they don't limit people from trading one another for over a value of 3000 every 15 minutes. AND if they don't remove the ability to players to fight one another to take items from their dead body for the victor.

Looking forward to see MechSociety taking the lead just as Rune Tips was the first group ever made for RuneScape, to have many glorious years of being the ONE and the ONLY website for MechScape guides and involvement.

it will be fun but I think that it will attract many of the younger players and most of the older players will stick with runescape, and I think most will still play rs even if they switch, but it will really come down to if you are more interested in the future or medieval times
