In the Bigger bands like New York First Army Band, for example, we wore dress blues and you would have reacted more favorably to our appearance. I do not know why the Army does not thinks these things out carefully.. Fatigues should be used where they were intended..A far smarter looking uniform would be the right choice..US Military bands are as good or better than any!

@freeqwerqwer Keep in mind this was a REHEARSAL for the inaugural parade, and these musicians were freezing their asses off. This was January and it's damn cold in Washington, and they were permitted to wear their winter gear, not their formal band uniforms for a REASON, dumbfuck! Regardless of their dress, they were completely in-step and their musical skills were excellent. Just they don't look pretty, but they are professionals. Many serve in battle as litter carriers for wounded.
