at 1:35 I find the Panther tank to bounce quite strongly following a gently break.
Pretty "unrealistic"..or is it because the original Panther hull has been stripped of heavy gun and original motor has been replaced by lighter british variant ?
Btw love the ventilation hole in the panther turret at 0:28 :D
I am not sure, but I think in sept 1944 there were no Tiger I, certainly no KingTiger II and presumably also no Panther tanks in Oosterbeek/Arnhem.
(Hetzers, Stugs, PnzIV, Marders, perhaps Lorraine with Howits./Pak gun, certainly no Char Bbis and the light Renault or Hotchkiss R/H-35 tanks were mostly left in FRance/Belgium by the germans to act as first (expendable) defense..not taken along in their haste from Normandy to Holland). .. What you see is the future Bovington museum collection!
Real tanks, and the real men who fought there. Most of the people in this film are the actual soldiers who participated and survived. As for the French tanks the Germans
still had a lot of them they used as late as 1944.
