  • i think the singing during the sax solo sounds more like volumes 'i love you'. Love this song :)

  • Frank Lyndon is definitely singing lead, not Carlo. Also, the song came out in the spring of '64, not '62.

Frank also does the ead on its likeness,"Wintertime", released on United Artists the following year. The boys performed Wintertime on the Clay Cole Show, a few weeks later. As Clay Cole announced that night, "My three Pisans from the Bronx...Frankie, Freddie, and Angelo...The Belmonts!" (Frankie, however, is German!)

Hope that puts, "who sings lead?" to rest.

  • this is very unlike dion. sounds like beach boys. cute tho, i like it.

  • They've had some great time !!!

I bet they were chasing skirts every day like you see in the movies

about the 60's. I love these songs. For the young people they made the best music at the time. I love it !!!

  • javajax0987: yeah, Was this song made after Dion left the Belmonts? Then this song are made of Carlos & the Belmonts? right?

  • I think youre right, pretty sure it's Carlo singing the lead.

  • very good i like dion and belmonts.

    coment is japanese please.

  • This is neither Dion nor Carlo singin lead to this

    song.

  • If you like this great rocker, wait to you hear WINTER TIME (by The Belmonts)!

  • Ahhhhh.The real music ever!!!

  • Yeah, I can hear that this is not Dion. But whatever, the song was good :)

  • This sounds like Frank Linden, the lead singer of the Belmonts who took over for Carlo Mastrangelo when he left. It is definitely not Dion, as bobdimucci pointed out.

  • Cute song. During the sax solo, the vocals kind of sound like Dion's "Donna the Prima Donna."

  • Sounds very beach boys, but awesome song for this time of year...Unless you live in the UK.

    Great post!

  • Actually this is The Belmonts, WITHOUT Dion.Great song anyway...

  • Thank You for letting us know that, Bob~ I only care about Dion~~
