Hopefully he falls to the 10-15 range, where my Isles can swoop in, and trade the 26th, 31st, and whichever other various picks/prospects needed to move up, and select Cowen.
Imagine getting Tavares and Cowen in the same draft. Our youngster pool will add up fast: Tavares, Cowen, Ness, Okposo, Joensuu, Bailey, Bergenheim, Comeau, even Tambellini could be a late bloomer.
Cowen would be a good pick for the leafs but with Gilroy, Boumeester available their is no need to draft him. If anything cowen is the gem of all gems in this draft w.e team picks him will be lucky.
Whatever,after what Burke said today it looks like were going to have to move a couple of picks to move into the top 5,when we could have lost to the sens and been there already.

Cowen was the consensus #3 pick until he got injured. Since we're drafting at #7, he'll be the best player available, and we need more defenseman.
