Not bad fellas, drummerman, calm down dude lol. You get all excited the rush the song up. Try breathing in time as well. Needs vocals! But awsome none the less
Not bad Not bad, ive seen AHELL OF A LOT WORSE, I dont think any drummer without dannys training can handle that breakdown.... triplet feel on the hats, turning the snare off at some point, four beats on the bass drum...ALL WHILE ALTERNATING 3 count, four count, and six count on the snare, then come back in time, pffffftttt!, if anyone can do it, please Id love to see it, but nice version drummer anyway man!
Seems to me that the bass player has a lot of trouble to play tight and tries to follow the guitars instead of playing along with the drums the drums. Nice job though!
hell ya , any atempt of tool is admirable , this was fucking right on , as a drummer/musican, I always love to see this, you all did exellent in my book, keep it up, i kn ow you will, working on" the pot" with my guys right now, love to see you guys blaze that one, ...... tool is one, we are one , jam on brothas!!!!!!!1
Nice job guys. I'm a drummer, so of course that's mainly what I paid attention to. Great effort on the song. All I would say to the drummer is just work on keeping a consistent tempo. Try not to rush things. Other than that, and a few things here and there as a whole, good job.
Maybe if the guitar was a bit louder the drummer would find it easier to keep the tempo. He really rushes through the fills and solos. Impressive though, and more entertaining than some of those lateralus covers out there. And that's all that really counts lol
good job indeed. the drums part is probably the hardest to emulate, and turned out the most impressiver part played. it seemed to me though that it was more of an audio cover than a live show, although it is rather complex to show off many flashy moves without screwing it over. nice one!
the part. before the bass stays alone is really crazy! each is at its own rythim... lol... after that the bass goes a little weird playing too many notes...still... 5 STARS for the best cover I've ever seen.
check my guitar cover of this song at my profile and comment.
i play the aforementioned hi-hat "triplets" as just straight notes, but then alternate doubles from right to left.. like so: dxxxxdxxxxdxxxx i've also found the four bass drum hits with the opening hats is much easier to play if you have a double pedal and can place your foot so you can close the hats and play the bd at the same time with the slave pedal, if that makes any sense.
great job! definately one of the best Lateralus covers I've heard. The drummer was noticeably off in certain places, notably the high hat triplets, but keep in mind that this is an extremely difficult songs to play on drums
dude, the drummer is amazing on this song, but i must say the guitar is pretty simple. but this guitarist didnt do a very good job, bass sounds good. but once again, this kid has got the drums down 99%...
There were some parts that were off, although he got quite a bit of it. Altogether i wouldnt say it was bad, it was pretty good, but some parts that need work. Also you should try working with a metronome, it's very very positive for your drumming and only good can come from it.

wow, the drummer needs some work, that bridge was weak. I can't feel the hi hat groove very well when it starts. He had a lot of tempo problems.

pretty good...... that polyrythm is off time a little bit but thats a really tough part with the time sig. on it... keep working at it!

Doesn't matter what the guitar does, the drum sets the timing for the band, but I do know what you mean. This is a fantastic cover though ;)

That was OUTSTANDING, man! I'd give a little bit more power to the guitar amp, but overall that was awesome!

It was great... but I think that you should give more power for guitarist amp, sometimes I just don't hear the guitar... But great anyway
