I just want to let this magic community know that Christians shouldn't HATE them, because Jesus is Perfect and doesn't hate anyone, but we can strongly dislike their practices - and, more importantly, hate the source of their magic.

I would have thought the point of sacred space is that its...sacred?? i.e you don't film it and stick it up on tube for everyone to gawp at...I know its really fashionable or whatever to do this, but isn't kind of like having a load of strangers virtually in your most private space...commenting, coveting and criticising over your most precious things. I'd hate that...kind of wonder why people do it??

I can answer your question on the books - they're by Ann Moura. For anybody else interested in them I just have to say they're more "Green Wicca" than "Green Witchcraft". Just a heads up.

the altar was so beatiful i wish i had one similar to yours. i am trying to star my own covent but i cant find any other pagans in my area and i have not told my parents i am pagan. that is probably the problem?
unfortunately for me, i am not yet 18 and have oppressive parents, so I can't freely have an altar. But I am hopeful for my 18th or for my parents to understand...
i know exactly how you feel it is hard not being able to worship the godesses and gods and not able to have an altar because your parents wont allow it.

Wow impressive that must of cost a lot of money and time especially the books i got only a few myself. I love it I wish I could have a room for my practices but I'm low on cash, I'm 16 so I still live with my parents in a trailer but in the future I hope to do something like that.

I can answer your question on the books - they're by Ann Moura. For anybody else interested in them I just have to say they're more "Green Wicca" than "Green Witchcraft". Just a heads up.
Woahjosh - your altar room is amazing! It's so peaceful. I love Mediaeval Baebes too, one of my favorite songs by them is The Snake. I love your setup for herbs - I'm on a budget too so I might just use your idea. :)

im wondering why you would refer to yourselves as pagans? it seems to me the word is used by the small minded to cover all religions that they cant, or wont, understand, like a racial slurr, i find it insulting myself, not that i am anything at all, ive found nothing in my lifes searching that would prove, or disprove anyones beliefs. seems to me that beliefs are designed to make ouselves feel better about what we cant understand. i say quit tryin, know thyself, and youl never walk alone.

offended are we?, i meant no offence, but i have to say, ive done extensive research, perhaps more than you, cuz i have found facts that prove the tearm "pagan" was created by the christian/catholic..(small minded) religion as a word describing what they called the religions of the heathens, basically anyone that believed different from them. my question was simply, why does this not offend you?..hell, i find it offensive, n all i follow is my head n my heart.

Pagan's are people belonging to a religion that is not Judeo-Christian or Abrahamic.
Although, if you are a Buddhist; or any of the oriental religions, you are NOT pagan.
Someone is referred to as a pagan if they are one of the Scandinavian or Early European religions. Some of these religions include Wicca, Deism, Norsk Paganism, Germanic Paganism, and The Greek or Egyptian religions.

The reason I call myself a Pagan is I am proud of it. Just as any 'Negro' would be proud to call himself/herself a 'Nigger'.
I call myself a pagan because I am proud to NOT be any of the Judeo-Christian religions.
It all just depends on the person, some people find being called a Pagan offensive, I however am proud to be called a Pagan as long as it's not being used in a detrimental sense.

that the christians USED the word is a mutch better way to put it ,cus as i understand it pagan is latin for something along the lines of poor country folk . some people think if you take a word and make it yours it takes the power away from the opreser. Also, by being united under the title, all the little religons gain ligitamacy much more easily under the law.........what would you have us call ourselves? ;)

that is very true and a very pritty thought... but ,this may sound silly , the term ''Human'' can sometimes feel like a slur. it would be cool if people could talk about ther belifes without becomeing defensive. and isnt it weird that people dont talk about ther belifes with people outside of ther own religon (and sometimes inside) unless they want a fight? :) how spiritual is that ?
