This is bullshit. Since when does a RESTORATION potion affect your alchemy stats on your equipment!!! It doesn't the potion says it increases your restoration magic not your alchemy skill!!

I'm pretty sure im doing everything right, but after creating 2 potions and then drinking them and re-equiping stuff, the highest my potions go to is 43% and my gear stays at 17%... SOMEONE HELP! :(

Second, when I use the potion, it boosts my percentage only to 31% and no further.

I am trying to boost with Ring and Amulet of Peerless Smithing though.

If you don't plan on exploiting this too far, to the point it could take all the fun out of the game. This is still an effective way to level your alchemy. Since the potions become so expensive, you'll start leveling every one you make.

Although, the enchantments DON'T stay on, so once you have your desired level of potion of fortify resteration, make a bunch of them, and make some smithing potions too, so you can craft high level gear.

@glassbox34 Just explore skyrim, you'll find something with the enchantment eventually. Also, if you are around level 20, general shops (the shops that buy and sell anything) could easily have them.

@metalicadude69 It's called a 'hole', or a glitch, if you like. it's an error in the scripting, when someone has coded something imperfectly, having an undesired effect. here, it is extremely useful, it helped me get a sword which does over 4200 damage per hit, so it is preferable to leave it in as lots of people will do it on purpose. but i don't think it will have been intentional

If ur like me and hate enchanting weapons (don't like to have to refill) do this, make a enchanting potion after doing this glitch, also make 2 smithing potions after glitch, then enchant armor with enchanting potion (glitched) give it smithing and enchanting go to skyforge and make a weapon after wearing armor and drinking first potion then sharpen to legendary after drinking 2nd smith potion. Then have fun

Everyone saying that the effects wear off or whatever, you need to upgrade your weapons eg to legendary or whatever or enchant them inorder for the effects to be multiplied and permanent.

@B00nater I had the same problem..What The point of the glitch is is you make those restoration potions untill you get a high stats for your alchemy Then Wile The restoratin potion is in effect with like thousands of percentage you make like A smithing potion say..Then you save that smithing potion till when your gonna go make weapons AND BOOM YOUR JESUS OF SKYRIM! Just wanted to say thanks. I made a Daedric bow with a powerful smithing potion then used the smithing potion again to improve the weapon, then I enchanted it with Fire damage and soul trap. At first, I had tried to use an enchanting potion that was too powerful and it would crash my game to the desktop. I guess that's what you mean by breaking the game. My weaker enchantment still gives my bow 1.6 million damage total. I kill anything with just one arrow, including Dragons!

@MauroCzajka Według wiki nadal działa na 1.4, a w liście updatów 1.4 do 1.4.27.0.4 nie ma wzmianki o tym by to naprawili. Za to poprawili parę rzeczy z książkami, więc pewnie glitch z ogma infinite nie będzie działać.

Mój najlepszy pomysł jest nadal taki sam. Spróbuj najpierw zdjąć equ dopiero potem wypić pote i znowu ubrać equ. Jeżeli tak robisz to spróbuj jak Snoop wypić, potem zdjąć. Jak też nie działa to downgrade, albo sprawdzić, czy działa glitch z noszeniem armorku ^^

hey make the potion of achemy real high to where it does not go over than make enchant potion then take what ever armor you want and u have to have carry weight take the potion then hurry take that armor lets say daedric boots put that on there and carry any thing you want or stamina or both if u wanted bye :)

But u can find other alchemy tables and arcane enchanters in other places in skyrim too, if that was what you were looking for

You can get it from vendors or certain quests if it is not at a vendor wait 48 hours and then try again ( repeat as much as necessary) and the go to an arcane enchanter and dis-enchant it and now u have the enchantment to use on other items
