It's classical hungarian poetry from József Attila. Simple words but very sophisticated imagery, hard to translate, I can't find one on the internet either. It's about a dew drop and a hard working bee, go figure ;)
This is absolutely wonderful. I recently found one great Hungarian singer after another, like Herczku Agnes, and Sebestyén Márta, Palya Bea, and now Bognár Szilvia... Wow, is there no end to amazing vocal talent in Hungary? And to hear these ladies singing together is wonderful. Is this concert available on DVD or CD? This music makes me very happy. Thank you for posting this video.
Thank you for your further recommendations! There's a whole new world opening up for me. I'm glad that young singers are also keeping the singing traditions alive in your country. These ladies have amazing voices. They are truely national treasures.
I went to Ms Bognar's website. Perhaps you could tell me where I can download this song? My knowledge of Hungarian is very poor ;-) On Amazon I have found her CD "Szajrol Szajra", but on her website I can see two further CDs, "Semmicske énekek" and "Rutafának sok szép ága". Which would you recommend? I've been unable to find any of my favourite Hungarian songers on MySpace. I wish they'd use MySpace - these artists deserve to be heard more internationally.

A legszebb vers a világon, és most fedeztem fel a dal kapcsán. Köszönöm.

A hasty English translation of the poem:
Little dew
Squatting the remontant (rapsberry bush) is rocking;
On her warm arms a baggy-greasy paperball is slumbering.
Soft is the landscape, the evening is a pearl; dense and tangled foliage
and mist of mountains is quivering on the hills, and my song.
Well, I worked faithfully buzzing like the meadow;
How light is the heaven, the workshop is already dark.
I am tired and silly, or simply good;
Trembling like the grass and like the stars.

Szilvi bájos, csupa szelíd okos szépség, a legjobb, nekem leginkább tetszik a mai énekesek közül

Igazán nagy kár, hogy nem lehettem ott ezen a csodás koncerten, ennyi hihetetlenül tehetséges és kivételes előadóművész előadásán!!!!
