you are a natural Paul....I hope you are still instructing....I'm assuming you live in The Angels....Cali..I've seen all your videos and you rock....and I dance on2!
great video....i was looking for a vid on turns for men...and this one is a real good one .....i like it that you broke it down in steps...and also did the counting ......it makes it a lot easier to learn.....thanks ...
That`s great!! i was looking for this kind of videos.. but i have a question are the turns for Salsa on1 and on2 the same ? I mean the same counting..
You are a master spinner for sure. Thank you. There are no videos that specifically address the necessary step-by-step footwork for the man's hoop turn (where the leader spins twice, after the male's right turn). Someone should really take the time to put out a video that breaks down more of the male turn footwork, e.g., hoop turn, solo turn. If anyone knows where I may find such a video please advise.
NOne the less, this dude is a master spinner. Thanks alot for taking the time and effort to make this 1st class lesson vid. DO you have a dvd that I can buy?
Great ! But one caveat....It looks easy because the lady is taller than her partner and she has long arms,so the guy can execute the turns more easily.
There is some truth in that, but I have no problem executing these moves with shorter partners. Sometimes just bending the knees a little will make all the difference that's needed. Thanks for your comment.
Gallito, aka. Paul Baarn, you have been around for a long time helping out salseros even before Youtube. You deserve some recognition for your contribution! Thanks my friend! And you still got it smoooooth!
Thanks pbaarn for offering some helpful suggestions for taking 'my turn'. Besides, the ladies need a break from the dizzying routines. I haven't found anything explained like this until now. 4 turns? Wow, that's bada*!. I'll have to study this video to learn all the nuances. Keep showing us more.
you seem good but you look homeless

Awesome instruction, as always. Is there any way you could do a separate instructional on solo turns/spins? - a.k.a. struggling spinner
