I like Band of Horses. A lot. Detlef Schrempf and No Ones Gonna Love you are some of my favorite songs. That said, this does nothing for me. Feels like they are trying too hard on this one. Their strength is pairing good lyrics and lovely vocals with good instrumentation.. and there isnt music here. This is trying too hard to go for that acoustic-hipster-folksy thing, that sucks anyway, and it doesn't even get there.

@crazyidiot101 monk! its different from psych but i loved it so much, i watched all 8 seasons and when i heard of psych i thought id never like it after monk but i did and now i love it:) you have to watch a few episodes of monk though to get used to it but trust me its good:P i cried my eyes out at the last episode of monk
band of horses is in a lot of t.v shows and movies like Due date and one of the twilight movies i think, and has to songs sampled and covered by cee lo green and kid cudi. I only started to notice how popular they are after i started listening to them though :D

i was a band of horses fan before i the episode of psych aired and being a fan of both the band and the show i thought that this song worked really well! and i am always happy when tv shows use music by lesser known bands that have a lot of talent because i feel like a lot of main stream music right now is not what it could be, if people would just broaden their horizons and listen to new things. if tv shows can help do that then that is great!

@apocalps3 I'm guessing they knew each other years ago, maybe not very well since Shawn doesn't remember her. I think they're planning on doing the third and final part of the yin/yang trilogy this season (5th season).

It's funny so many people are upset that a lot of people found this song on Psych. Isn't publicity for a band a good thing? Then the memories rush within me like a thunderstorm. Striking all those familiar sights and words from so long ago. These pictures are far from the same as the imagery in this song. However, this song is tied to an emotion, a thought, and an even which has effected me so much. I love this song/band. They provoke me to chase the mist that is unreachable. My heart quakes to these words/notes/tones in a way that I can explain but can't. Then, I wonder . . . Will she read this and not know?

i was a band of horses fan before i the episode of psych aired and being a fan of both the band and the show i thought that this song worked really well! and i am always happy when tv shows use music by lesser known bands that have a lot of talent because i feel like a lot of main stream music right now is not what it could be, if people would just broaden their horizons and listen to new things. if tv shows can help do that then that is great!

So I knew about this song (and this band) before that episode of Psych...but now I'm back to listening to them consistently again because of it.

i never heard of this before psych but it is such a great song, not to mention a great song to go along with the best season finale of any show i have seen. this song fits the scene so perfectly, what a fabulous song. it's so powerful and touching just like the season finale, it's a perfect match. that episode is the best psych episode hands down, my fav. but the very very ending with the picture of yang and shawn 20 years ago, it throws me off. can anyone explain that to me?

@apocalps3 I'm guessing they knew each other years ago, maybe not very well since Shawn doesn't remember her. I think they're planning on doing the third and final part of the yin/yang trilogy this season (5th season).

@apocalps3 there is no real explanation but people have a theory that shawn has a twin brother that his dad never told him about...and thats how yang had a tattoo of him.. thats why he was after all the spencers not just shawn..being a forgotten twin brother would piss almost anybody off

It's funny so many people are upset that a lot of people found this song on Psych. Isn't publicity for a band a good thing? I'd think Band of Horses would want more people to be exposed to their sound so their music can be appreciated for its quality and worth. And if they get a couple of Psych fans to youtube their music because of the season finale...so what?...
