  • i hate albini's stupid guitar butt-strap

  • No drummer, man.

  • The sight of Albini, skinny, wearing glasses, with that nerdy haircut, saying "Then I fucked all your friend's girlfriends" is just hilarious.

    Great song.

  • Classic

  • ??? my father and uncle sing ??

  • @SkeXO3 I can see it, Steve Albini's son asking "Um, why did you do this stuff?" and then he's like, "where did you find this video?".

  • @Chrisgodoflard Steve still has concerts with a band he formed called Shellac.

  • awesome

  • best band to use a drum machine

  • ''legendary punk band'' ... doesn't take much, does it?

  • @nanarockband Hahah well thats true to an extent these guys were actually good

  • Steve's guitar is attached to his belt. That's weird.

  • i love this bands sound. so raw

  • Roland's a beast on drums.

  • @myaccount611 The little drum machine that could.

  • "I think I f*cked your girlfriend once, maybe twice, I don't remember. Then I f*cked all your friends girlfriends, and now they hate you."

Best lyrics ever! :-) Steve is a God!

  • This de values the meaning of music.

  • @TempleOfTacos 'bout time, right?

  • nerd power

  • what guitar did steve play?

  • Songs About Fucking somehow got hot in my circle around the summer of 89. 20 years later it's still OK to me.

  • Crazy fuckin mclovin

  • This shit is so good, it even makes me reconsider Pussy Galore as my favorite Noise-Rock band!

  • what an impressive way to wear a guitar!

  • @ nowaveshow YES INDEED I've often wondered how he could play the bass so well after the seal ate his hand

  • LOL..THE FATHER OF POST HARDCORE

  • μαλακια

  • @PRIXIES Dude go listen to Justin Bieber.

  • why won't that mic stay in place

  • alltime hate filled lyrics come from steve albini. love this shit.

  • Never got to see these guys live - one of my biggest regrets - although I did meet Steve in a pub in 1989, which kind of made up for it...

  • do their guitars hang on their belts?

  • @Raupenkeimheimholer Lol looks like it

  • When he says "I think i fucked your girlfriend once," he's just daring you to kick his skinny ass so he can chalk you up as a fascist fratboy. That's the Albini way

  • 29 dislikes?! Idiots.

  • >Punk band.

    Yeah right.

  • @underscor3

    >implying they didn't incorporate elements of punk

  • 29 people had their girlfriends fucked by the narrator...

  • This is quite shocking. He said a bad word, and his jeans are ripped.

  • must have been really intense shows

  • Yeah!!! "i think i f**ked your girlfriend once, maybe twice, i don't remember...THEN i fucked all your friends' girlfriends...Now they hate you!"

  • Still stunning

    Great

  • Thank god for The Jesus Lizard filling the massive shoes these guys left. Even if it was for only half a decade or so.

Also, if you call these guys "noise rock", you're a fucking idiot. These guys destroyed rock, fucked it, left it for dead and walked away with smiles on their faces while everyone else was too stunned to look away. And they only needed one album to do it.

  • why would someone watch this and "dislike" it?

  • @thousandlegger

Because Radiohead is their favorite band.

  • albini with his guitar strap around his waist. crazy business.

  • fuck big black bodychoke did it better anyway.

  • @alucardisdumb fuck you faggot you dont deserve ears

  • @getyourpizzanow daw did i just trash on babbys first noise rock band?

big blacks entire discography still doesnt touch bodychokes mindshaft/5 prostitutes/cold river songs

  • @alucardisdumb you dont know noise rock get outta here

  • @getyourpizzanow clearly by saying big black was overrated weak sauce i clearly know nothing about noise rock.

    and besides: noise>noise rock.

  • @alucardisdumb

I think the guys in Bodychoke would disagree with you.

    Get off the internet more.

  • @annefrankisaho funny you should say that,i just got back from a business trip to tampa so...thanks for the advice.

and the guys from bodychoke should have kept going instead of trying to beat the dead horse that is sutcliffe jugend.

  • god damn what a great time for music...early-to-mid 80s punk can't be beat...then it all went up in smoke so fast when the grungers showed up. fuck all you dirty flanneled pan-handling fun-ruiners....

  • @room1106 you just got old dude. the spirit wasn't so different

  • @room1106

that's funny. Mudhoney, the first grunge band, started off as just another punk band.

  • A "square" friend of mine saw this album cover and thought it was "Big black songs about fucking" ............like large colored people doing the nasty. Makes me laugh to this day.

  • it's a mother of Nirvana

  • my brother that passed loved this shit

  • On soulseek of course

  • this is my theme tune haha...

  • haha im friends with the guitarist's son, hes dads so white in this vid( despite being columbian lol)

  • i just love the coldness of the track and the line "i think i fucked your girl once, maybe twice i dont remember"

  • I listen to Big Black songs about Fucking while having Big Black thoughts about Fucking.

This song is so jizz worthy.

  • @crudbiscuit thats because youre a loser

  • anyone, 30=40, wish to discuss steve albini, shellac, rapeman, big black, etc....? im not like im even awful to look at :(

  • 1:50 = WIN

  • @polyfusia- the pedal steve used for big black and shellac (perhaps rapeman) was a harmonic percolator. VERY hard to come by (original that is) though there is a re-issue out.

  • Yaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • i still think these guys didn't have any clue what they were doing. that's what i love about them.

  • i saw these guys in the 80s and didn't know who they were...the opened for someone and I was like "what the fuck was that? i like it!"

  • What guitar pedal is that?

  • yah yah,but..how can anybody really ignore that dated drum mechanism sound?

Steve even says in an interview, the only bands that make it

have AWESOME DRUMMERS... oh just another footswtich for guitargods to hit!

I understand the need here though. Pretty unique band.

Perfect music for 23 year old dudes who just lost their job at the gas station after getting caught masturbating to tiger beat.

There are many other Albini projects I would call legendary but not this.

  • @freqazoidiac Sorry but big black were class stranglers tribute band

  • @freqazoidiac Sorry but these were class.Like a good stranglers tribute band.Shellac are average. The best thing Albini does is produce he has a great ear for drum sounds though i agree

  • @freqazoidiac 2deep4u bro?

  • bad ass, kinda reminds me of rapeman

  • great videos deadguy138.... cannot even believe the sound quality. !!!

  • Big Black were just plain fucking badass!

  • @knightgame1979

    Outta know me by now!!!!

  • compared to them most of todays bands are just nothing

  • I think I fucked your

    girlfriend once.

    Maybe twice, I don't remember

    Then I fucked all your

    friends' girlfriends

    Now they hate you

  • This band kicked so much ass. If I could count the number of bands these guys influenced with my fingers, I would need hundreds of hands.

  • These guys narrated my life in the eighties.

By the way, I think I fucked your girlfriend once. Maybe twice, I don't remember.

  • @octurianbaby Now your friends hate me.

  • LOVE this bassline.

  • Doesn't anyone else think the other guitar player looks a little like buster from arrested development?

  • @nowaveshow Only difference: this guy has hands.

  • @nowaveshow Only, he's using his hook for the guitar sound...

  • This band kick ass.First time I heard them they just blew me away.

  • albini you fucking nerd hahahaha

  • good music

  • are their guitars strapped to their waists?

  • yup, steve told me its more comfortable that way. he still does it

  • And a Die Kreuzen shirt too.

    Ahhh, memories.

  • Rapeman is awsome too that's true man lol

  • Look at him jerk at 2:05. I don't even think humans are supposed to move like that!

I met him and talked to him for a while after a gig in Dublin. Funnier than any stand up gig I've been to in ages.

  • steve albini likes loud ass noise that makes his head spin.

  • Got songs about fucking at a music store it rocks as well as his other band shellac album at action park!

  • ummmm his other other band rapeman is fucking awesome as well.

  • @Deathofanenemy get shellac excellent italian greyhound. it's great.

  • that main riff has such a fuck you vibe to it i love it

  • I see on the net that there have been Big Black video releases/dvd releases. but I can't find where to buy any. Anyone know how I can get hold of one/all?

  • eBay? I usually torrent my movies. The DVD is called Pigpile.

  • kicks ass

  • songs about fucking is the best album ever

  • @cocopelli72

It was a good album, but in my opinion The Hammer Party (which is all the EPs) and Atomizer were better. But that's just me.

  • Atomizer, have to agree. Lately I've been sleeping in bad houses, places no respectable man would be seen. Wicked stuff.

  • @cocopelli72 Check out the live record Pigpile, which this song is taken from. The drums are louder, the guitars are better, it trumps the first two studio records.

  • @cocopelli72 I like atomizer

  • @cocopelli72 Yea, brilliant album. Actually broke the cassette from listening to it so much.

  • @hellebore100 this is the only album i listen when i cook special Sunday lunch. it is now 6 year old routine...

  • @cocopelli72

u know where can it be downloaded ? lost it on my last pc -.-

  • @NorthrendLoyalists soulseek of course!!

  • @cocopelli72 It is fucking great but I like Earth Atomizer as thats the one I first got and fell in love with!

  • Fan of Atomizer, I am.

  • @cocopelli72

I dunno, the Hammer Party was a pretty good album too.

  • steve albini makes me proud to be 5'7 and only 102lb.

    Skinny people rule!!

  • Hell yeah, 6'0 and 113 pounds here.

  • Hell yea, 6'0" and 200lbs here.

  • "Guess you couldn't throw me too far."

    Love this song!

  • this is the real shit right here...

  • i just ordered hammer party for 3 quid off hmv - good deal?

  • I thought Big Black was his best band.

  • Steve Albini is a guitar rapist (in a good way)

  • @VanillaMidget the guitar was asking for it.

  • @VanillaMidget hey he WAS in rapeman soo...

  • SO GOOD.........I remember seeing them during this period. They opened for some group and I was like...WOW! What was that?

  • that main riff it's just screams fuck you

  • this is such a brilliant live version of an awesome song

  • I heard he (Steve Albini) used to play without a pick so hard that his hands would get gashes and splatter blood all over his shirt.

  • He used copper picks and still does today.

  • He played with a metal pic cut with tinsnips from a sheet of aluminum. That is how he (and santo durango) got such a jangly sound. On the liner notes steve albinis guitar playing was called sknnng and mr durango's was called vrooom.

  • faggittt

  • The only peple u fucked were the fags in that shit band fagit!!!!!

  • MARCMANTIONE: you misspelled "faggot".....

  • becuase spelling comments on youtube properly is so fucking important, right?

  • You're the only faggot I see here.

  • Didjiou Bad Penny! ça fait un bail et ça fait du bien! merci à Olive,il comprendra!!;)

  • Albini's music is too good for most people

  • loves it. can anyone (truthfully. if you quote anything 'wiki', i'll kill you) tell me why albini was bleeding from his mug?

  • Is he definitely bleeding? I can't decide.

I do worry he's going to mosh his glasses off his face. Then where would he be!

Why aren't rock musicians any good anymore? Why are they fucking haircut primping expensive shoes tight jean posers?

  • well i mostly entirely agree with you last statement there, but Steve does seem to be wearing some tight jeans.

  • he weighs 73lbs here. if his jeans arent this tight, we'll be able to tell what religion he is

  • he is. if you watch the clips in order of the CD (album, to us old farts), his shirt becomes more and more stained. a few close-ups of his right cheek in some of the vids shows some damage...

"why aren't"? easy. MONEY. making it big in the music biz today is about MARKETING, not TALENT.

that sux, but its a bitter pill

  • @lepopnoir ah there's still good stuff out there. check out harlem / thee oh sees / man man, obits, night marchers, etc.

  • He got cut.

  • albini is fucking god, either that or mcluvin from superbad.

  • noise!=music

  • music is stupid. lets make more noise!

  • != means NOT

  • no shit.

    I'm sayin I don't care if noise ain't music.

    tzoche !=smart

  • big black considered a punk cos wikipedia said they were "noise rock" but steve says they are punk...

  • wikipedia ain't exactly infallible bro. certainly more punk than noise-rock. The Gerogerigegege would be a prime example of noise rock.

  • dr albino and his scratch box do make some blistering sound, I think he was the original bono.

  • This band doesn't get nearly enough credit. Especially when it comes to the industrial music of the 90s. I think steve albini was a big influence on marilyn manson.

  • Steve Albini is God.

  • steve albini: the new chuck norris

  • Comment removed

  • The fuck you say about the godly Steve Albini? He swats bitches away with a six foot skiing pole when he goes about town.

  • albini is a serial killer

  • The big black is a euphemism for death for the guy who's asking about their name.

  • Gimp

  • yup. done the way it oughta get done.

  • I was gonna go see the reunion show but after I heard Roland wouldn't be there I had to pass.

  • haha

  • I know, how could they just dump him like that? Poor guy.

    Gotta feel for Roland :(

  • i love his waist-strap lol awesome!
