I'm glad my cats have learned to take pills easily, they even purr during that. I give them pills twice a day and fighting every time would be really exhausting... :-)

Guys just buy pill pockets!!! That's what I did when my kitty didn't allow me to give him a pill. This is less stressful for everyone.

My cat was diagnosed with liver disease and must have pills for 6-8 weeks.

It is not feasible. And she is not eating.

The pills won't help if she won't eat either.

I just wrap the pill in a ball of wetfood.. and offer it, and down it goes.. no problemo... my male ginger would probably kill you if you tried that on him.

Oh that last posting made me chuckle.

I got my cat used to taking pills whilst she was a kitten. I used treats. Now when she needs to take her worming pills every 3 months she's absolutely fine.

If it doesn't matter whether or not the cat crushes the medication, then you can put your cat in a crate with nothing but a pill pocket with the medication inside. The cat will usually get bored and with nothing better to do, will eat the pill pocket.

I hated the 'drama' of giving my cat his medication, so I had to do this.

But I like the towel idea if it's something that shouldn't be accidentally chewed. Thumbs up!

the way i give my cat his pill is we use a pill pockets but if he does not eating no mater what i have to do that my cat mocha has segures
