  • These dudes are getting pimped by the travel channel. what do u think they're getting paid for this shit? nothing.

  • @uughegiggin

They went on a mission to spread a message of Peace. They also wanted to meet with the American who once brought peace to their country (Tom Navy). They got to travel, live and eat for free. If that's being pimped, I'll be a whore.

  • well, this is pretty much just Borat

  • They're actually better off than us. We work all our lives for food and shelter mostly. They have those things already. They have more time to think about larger things.

  • Hunting is still working for food

  • Hunting and fishing aint work. Their work is our recreation.

  • Just came across this show. Every American can only benefit from this show. The tribesmen from Tana are truly connected to this Earth.

We may think we live in a better society but after watching this show that can be highly debatable.

This show is warm, funny and really makes you think. Thats what a reality show should be like.

Thanks Travel Channel, again you have produced another gem of a show.

Thanks travel channel for opening our eyes.

  • there too different places. a guy in where those guys were from probaly wouldnt last in the US society. but the US wouldnt survive in theres either. we dont need to, as long as an atomic bomb doesnt knock our power out or all our buildings suddenly collapse i would say we are pretty much fine

  • Love this show! americans can learn so much from them!

  • Like what? These guys are just part of a cargo cult that their grandfathers started when they came in contact with our Navy. If anything they learned from us.

  • Your looking at it from your viewpoint... They have a lot of knowledge that americans don't know or even think about.... after seeing a few episodes I realized this.

  • @kingdavidb yea i'm sure they have great knowledge about plants and animals in their area and how to survive, but we don't need to know that here.

  • Well yeah you look like one if you think so!

  • ...What are you talking about??!?

  • hahahhahhhaahahahahaahahahaahahahahahahahaahahahahaahah

  • I don't think they are trying to make fun of them, I think it's really awesome to put them in something so completely different and gain knowledge about how other cultures live. Each side, them and the people they encounter learn something new from each other. I think it looks like a great and wonderful show. and also funny. :)

  • People used to complain that anthropologists disrupted cultures in their attempts to increase human knowledge. This oroject will probably alter their culture significantly, and mostly for entertainment and commercial purposes. Nonetheless, it's very charming and I'm hypnotized.

  • wait din't they go to england ? or they returned to tanna and then go to america o_____o sorry for my bad english -.-

  • I think this is a different group from the same village who are going to America.

  • living like them is so much better than living in money and all, like westerners, they live not with money, but with peace and harmony, people should try to live like them, but i guess westerners are too counting on money

  • they do not live in mud or poverty, they dont need money to survive, unlike us, they got everything from their land, and they are all happy, because there are no money involved

  • I think the point of my post eludes you. I wonder how you know that living like them is so much better than how us westerners live, as you sit on your computer browsing youtube. I guess seeing a couple videos has made you an expert. I would like to clarify that I never said they are unhappy in thier culture, but if you don't call what they live in poverty then you're wrong.

  • The definition of the noun poverty: the state or condition of having little or no money, goods, or means of SUPPORT; condition of being poor; indigence.

According to the show, the people have everything they need to SUPPORT themselves from the land and they are perfectly satisfied with what they have. They don't need materialistic things and wealth. They are definitely not living in poverty.

    You, sir, are wrong.

  • To endocry:

thats not the point of the show, it is more like for the audience like us to realize the bads in a capitalist society, to be honest, this show makes us look bad...(they mention many times in the british and american shows - how come we dont take care of the poor people??)

  • I agree totally man

  • I wonder if they will reject their culture to a degree now that they have experienced a totally different way of living?

  • Go to channel VanuatuVeritas and ask him.

  • That comment was fairly ignorant, but the caliber of English used made me smile.
