I saw this for the second time the day before yesterday. It's very unsettling. The sun WAS above the cloud formation (similar to this, which looks like a chemtrail), so maybe it's a form of a sundog? but I don't ever remember seeing these in all of my nearly 55 years. What gives? I live in central PA and did not have a camera or cell phone camera handy. Damn!
It's called a circumhorizon arc, and like sundogs it is indeed a halo.
Ice crystals in the cirrus clouds (which are sometimes also formed by contrails - please don't use the word "chemtrail", it's reserved for ignorant conspiracy theorists) refract the sunlight, breaking it up into the component colors, in this exact color order, aligned in horizontal color bands.

@LazyJones1 I may add, often it is claimed that only on newer sky photographs (~1980s) Chemtrails would be seen. This claims have been all prooven to be shit. Even on old black&white photos there are THE SAME odd clouds to be seen.

Lights in the sky before an earthquake are not a weapon, sadly. They're a geological phenomenon where trapped pressurized gas is released and glows. Usually it's methane. Sometimes it's hydrogen.

A rainbow is a complete circle, and it's apparent shape is limited by terrain, visual effects, where the light source is, and where the prism is.
This, being ice crystal refraction, creates only a small slice of a circle, one almost not recognizable as an arc.
Radio waves don't react with anything in the atmosphere to produce VISIBLE light. If they did, you could blame this stuff on Satellite TV, RADAR, radios, and a million other things far more common and mundane than HAARP.

I wolk up for work driving east on the 401 at 7am on June 25/09 and i saw the haarp colors in the sky. i didnt have a camera but i knew right away that it was it. Later on in that day we had tornado's around the area and everyday since then we have had thunderstorms and lightning! We should demand what they are up too!

Hasn't anyone ever heard of a "Sun Dog"? I see them a lot here in Georgia, USA, usually one on each side of the sun when it is not raining, but mostly clear. They are the byproduct of water vapor in the air, and the sunlight refracting, which causes the individual wavelengths of light to separate into the colors of a rainbow, but only in one spot of sky, not a continuous arc, as when it rains while the sun is out. Common thing.

I saw this for the second time the day before yesterday. It's very unsettling. The sun WAS above the cloud formation (similar to this, which looks like a chemtrail), so maybe it's a form of a sundog? but I don't ever remember seeing these in all of my nearly 55 years. What gives? I live in central PA and did not have a camera or cell phone camera handy. Damn!

It's called a circumhorizon arc, and like sundogs it is indeed a halo.
Ice crystals in the cirrus clouds (which are sometimes also formed by contrails - please don't use the word "chemtrail", it's reserved for ignorant conspiracy theorists) refract the sunlight, breaking it up into the component colors, in this exact color order, aligned in horizontal color bands.
It's not super rare, just uncommon.

Thanks for the information on the phenomenon. While I do not buy into MOST so-called "conspiracy theories," I can and do keep an open mind about some things. Why is it that I am nearly 55 years old and do not remember seeing CONTRAILS that look like that and form ugly wisps coming off them and mess up the sky for the rest of the day since AFTER about 1999? @LazyJones1 I may add, often it is claimed that only on newer sky photographs (~1980s) Chemtrails would be seen. This claims have been all prooven to be shit. Even on old black&white photos there are THE SAME odd clouds to be seen.
In older times there were much rare, though, but that's because there haven't been jetplanes flying to high and produce condensation trails.

I think whats more interesting than a rainbow caused by the sun hitting a cloud...is the white object...moving quite rapidly in a slight zigzag motion.
You can see it clearly from 0:02 into the flm. look to the center of the video and move your eyes halfway to the right edge of the window then hit play..
Its bright white and quite fast.
Watched over and over and over again for wings of any type...cant see any myself. my eyes dont miss much.

Notice the color order of red above yellow, above green, above blue? - Same as any other refraction phenomenon. It's the finger print of refraction phenomena, and his been so since Sir Isaac Newton first refracted sunlight in a prism in the 1660's...
High altitude ice crystals (cirrus clouds) refract the sunlight, and this halo is the result. It's only visible on a white background, so it's not quite like a rainbow, it appear to color only the clouds behind it.

Lights in the sky before an earthquake are not a weapon, sadly. They're a geological phenomenon where trapped pressurized gas is released and glows. Usually it's methane. Sometimes it's hydrogen.
It would be COOL if they were a weapon, but they're not.
This is completely unrelated to the china lights the guy mentions in the video, however. Rainbows happen all the time in the sky, because of clouds and the sun and the way they interact.

Actually, you would expect it to be prismatic with any sort of ice crystals in the sky. It's a rainbow. Radio waves do not interact with ice, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, or any other thing in the atmosphere.

A rainbow is a complete circle, and it's apparent shape is limited by terrain, visual effects, where the light source is, and where the prism is.
This, being ice crystal refraction, creates only a small slice of a circle, one almost not recognizable as an arc.
Radio waves don't react with anything in the atmosphere to produce VISIBLE light. If they did, you could blame this stuff on Satellite TV, RADAR, radios, and a million other things far more common and mundane than HAARP.

I haven't head that from any "official" video. My guess is that it is a quote taken out of context, and at the very best a case of speculation on what this technology might be able to do, taken to the next steps beyond it's current capabilities.
It certainly has never produced a light effect visible to the naked eye. The 3.6 million watts the signal is powered by, is simply not impressive compared to even the natural *variations* in the power affected upon the ionosphere by the sun.

HAARP is not a secretive government installation. It doesn't require any security clearances to go there. Universities and colleges conduct research there. Reporters and the public (you) are welcome to visit, and can even have a tour of the facility, which is really just a high frequency transmitter and some computers.

What they have, is the ability to create a small plasma-field in the ionosphere. The effect that this has on weather patterns is negligible.
Perhaps if they increased the strength of the signal it would be able to cause slight interruptions in the wind patterns in the upper atmosphere, but those would not matter a great deal either.

I wolk up for work driving east on the 401 at 7am on June 25/09 and i saw the haarp colors in the sky. i didnt have a camera but i knew right away that it was it. What ever it was, it wasn't "haarp colors".
The light effect that HAARP can have, has never been seen by human eyes alone. It can't. It's simply too faint compared to the massive effect of the sun.
Only special sensitive cameras AT the HAARP site has ever picked it up, and only at night.
If you want to know what they are up to, go ask them yourself. It's a very open research facility, they'll happily give you a tour.
Just don't tell them YOU thought they made a tornado. That's embarrasing.

It's called a circumhorizon arc.
Ice crystals high in the air refract the sunlight, much like what happens in a rainbow.
It happens so high, however, that the rainbow light is only visible against a background of clouds, which gives the impression that the cloud itself has been colored, or that the rainbow has a strange shape.
In actuality, the colorbands are pretty much horizontal.

Retard. Its magnetic activity created by the earth itself. The color is created by the fluctuations and disturbance in various wavelengths of naturally occurring radiation in the atmosphere. The same way that the northern lights are shown to us by the interaction between solar radiation and our magnetic field. People can be so herded into fearing the unknown. Not really weather. However b4 I started recording it seems like every kid was crying around me. My husband told me to look up and there we saw evidence of HAARP. Sadly not everyone knows about this High frequencey Terrorism....lol. Thank you for your comments.

This phenomenon has a physical explanation, as most natural phenomenon does, no matter how mystical you think they look.
This is called a "circumhorizon arc" (look it up) - and you cand find pictures of many more of them on google's image search.

Hasn't anyone ever heard of a "Sun Dog"? I see them a lot here in Georgia, USA, usually one on each side of the sun when it is not raining, but mostly clear. They are the byproduct of water vapor in the air, and the sunlight refracting, which causes the individual wavelengths of light to separate into the colors of a rainbow, but only in one spot of sky, not a continuous arc, as when it rains while the sun is out. Common thing.

Hmm, look, Personally I tend to sway in favor of the NWO/HAARP conspiracy's existence.
But you can't just go around pointing a camera at the sky when something weird shows up and immediately blame it on HAARP without any evidence whatsoever. If you know it's HAARP then give us the evidence.
Clouds are water vapor, water can refract light and make rainbows, it's not all the HAARP death machine.
Some of it could be, but probably not everything.
