hey is steel the best stringg? for acoustic?

well im just a beginner i really dont know. But i would choose steel for vibration purposes. personally ive never heard of plastic strings before.

well, if you still want to know:

steel is often used for "folk" or pop, rock, country, blues, and so on - while nylon (plastic) strings are mainly used for classic pieces. there are also 2 sorts of guitars. Classic and Folk

I never saw somebody put nylons on a folk guitar like this. (or steels on a classic guitar)
