Yeah...but he said at the beginning of the clip that unless you have two mature adults coming together for a relationship, there will be games...Eddie's character doesn't fully mature until the end of the movie because he still cheats on Hallie early on - it's not until later, when he's matured,  that point at that point he gets Hallie without all the games.
