I'd have to agree with several things you said about him, and I know you're trying to be funny, but I don't think he's as bad as you made him out to be. @infernoflow slowbeef and Diabeetus are also members of the forum where he started his LPing, though. He was obnoxious and got in shit for it, which is why he only posts LPs on Youtube now. You can't turn off ratings/comments on SA, but you can on YT.

Especially since SA has a pretty high standard for LPing (which makes sense with it being pretty much the origin of it) I've met many who are really picky when it comes to LPs and while I can see where they are coming from I just can't bring myself to care. I know that most newer LPers are people around my age who just like to play video games thought it might be fun to give recording and commentating a try. I don't feel right judging.

In fact, @retsupurae there is nothing wrong with his LP's. A good LPer shouldn't have to play a popular game get fans. A good LPer doesn't have to even be good at the game he is playing. Look at the yogscast, they have 1 million+ subscribers and they aren't very skilled at most of the games they LP. You guys don't even have the balls to respond to your viewers comments so until you asswipes gain the character DC has never insult him again.

Here's a better Lets Player, TraskNari. All of his content is original, he isn't hateful/vulgar to his fans or his enemies, he's funny (most of his content is begging for the game to be fair to him), and some of the best entertainment in his videos is the rare occasional glitch.

You guys REALLY seem like trolls in this video. And yes, I know I sound like the equivalent to a Palin fan defending her stupidity. But you do make some pretty funny jokes in this vid, and I do tend to skip or just not watch certain many videos of his.
Watching this knowing that they're doing blind commentary makes it so much better. At 1:43, where Slowbeef just says "right there", while he's jackassing around trying to hit a bouncy thing. Diabetus's comment right after is another great one. There are so many comments that seem really appropriate for the circumstances, and yet it was done completely blind.

Deceased Crab is one of those spazzes who thinks energetically screaming non sequiturs and memes is considered humorous by any human being alive. I can't even listen to this clown, he's ridiculous.
I remember I told Deceased Crab on his 6 Days A Sacrifice review that he was wrong with the character you played as being slow, and he walked the same speed as all the other characters in the series. I was in no way calling him dishonest, I actually told him I could understand where he was coming from and the game could give you that illusion at first glance.
I was blocked and received a message telling me that I needed to die.
When judged solely by the core principles of LP, DeceasedCrab is the real deal. That doesn't change simply because he is productive, or because he tailors his videos to appeal to mass audiences, or because legions of his mediocre imitators have flooded the YouTube LP community, or because he doesn't want to be everyone's friend. Every last one of those shoes could easily be placed on the other foot, so to speak.

@LuwiigiMaster Have you ever watched someone play a video game in real life and still had fun? That's the good side of let's plays, you get to observe their pathos. You don't need to be the goddamn person in the wrestling match, and there's no law that bans you from watching one.
You know if the smarmy delivery of let's plays are too goddamn painful for you to tolerate, then stop watching them. You who watches these videos purely for self-affirmation, why don't you move on to better things?

@OtherGuy931 Your sarcasm detector needs a bit of a tune up. Especially since awesome-factor is not something that is quantifiable. And if it even was quantifiable I assure you the ratio of "# of videos : awesomeness" would never be 1:1. If anything the function would be a polynomial with the optimal # of videos for maximum awesomeness being somewhere in the middle.

DC's pretentiousness is stifling and he's such a prick. If his personality weren't so awful he might be pretty watchable. As it is the only DC review I actually watched all the way through was the Barbie one, and that was only because he'd just had his wisdom teeth out so most of what he was saying was gibberish.

I remember I told Deceased Crab on his 6 Days A Sacrifice review that he was wrong with the character you played as being slow, and he walked the same speed as all the other characters in the series. I was in no way calling him dishonest, I actually told him I could understand where he was coming from and the game could give you that illusion at first glance.
I was blocked and received a message telling me that I needed to die.

When judged solely by the core principles of LP, DeceasedCrab is the real deal. That doesn't change simply because he is productive, or because he tailors his videos to appeal to mass audiences, or because legions of his mediocre imitators have flooded the YouTube LP community, or because he doesn't want to be everyone's friend. Every last one of those shoes could easily be placed on the other foot, so to speak.

@KingOfKatamari To be fair, when you look at the level of crap that fills up the Youtube Let's Play genre, DeceasedCrab is one of the better LPers. And I actually do appreciate that he plays these obscure-as-hell games I would have otherwise never heard of.
The trouble is, he's a bit pretentious. He thinks very little of his viewers and a little too much of himself, which often makes him come across as a prick. I eventually unsubbed him, cos I grew tired of feeling I was being talked down to.

So your purpose in all of this is to nitpick things that aren't problems, make fun of his method for doing lp's, and to generally question his very existance on youtube? I don't see what you're talking about. He plays very random obscure games because they're not mario 3 or mega man 2. His euphanisms, while repetative are usually used at just the right time, and his average skill level does actually make it pretty entertaining. We are all entitled to our opinion though.

i commented on deceasedcrabs pazzon video about some religion shit or whatever and he blocks me calling me a hippy. professional. the problem with dc besides being rather annoying and predictable with what he's gonna say is hes just an asshole. he really just stopped caring about people and what they think. he'll block you just to make his life easier or so he doesnt really have to start up ANY form of conversation with anyone but madamluna who seems to not care either. i prefer hateworkboy.

@jettythesunfish he's one of the older lpers from the sa forum, he's apparently inspired a lot of lpers, one of my favorite being nakateleeli (very good lper and not an asshole) but yea he stopped caring for his fans and viewers to make his life easier and now he's an asshole. his videos were average at best, his commentary was unbeievably predictable. like he's saying the same thing over and over. but im still waiting for a retsupurae of chuggaaconroys videos. theres so much to make fun of.
