There's one part of the Highland Park plant that never shows up in pictures. I found this photo among old family photos and didn't know what the heck it was. Then someone told me it was the craneway at the Highland Park Model T plant- and the photo was from near the end of production there as there are steel wheels in the photo, to the right. 4:20 gave me shivvers. That car is on its way to big exciting life. My '21 Touring ran down the same line, probably saw the same men. Drove through the same doorway and ended up in my garage 87 years later. Wow.
That is where my grand father worked. Then he came to Colo Springs, Colo. and had a repair shop.
