hey man wats up , my nephew is in the army and is stationed in germany and he was able to open an account with the same bank that i have and that is washington mutual. Check them out and see what they can do for you,

it also depends on the bank . the bank i deal with and have for over 15 years doesnt charge for cashiers checks unless you dont have a checking or savings with them.

Last time I was in the bank I scratched my own ass and I was charged 6.99 for the privilege. Seriously, American banks suck. My friends in the UK say the same for thiers, Canada I don't know.
