whaou! j'avais vu la première version, mais la tu as amélioré les positions de jeu, le son, le feeling... Super! Un des chorus les plus costauds de chez Vanelli (fan aussi). La classe! Et te mine pas si t'es pas Bireli, tu dois donner bien du plaisir autour de toi avec ton jeu, et c'est le plus important, la virtuosité sans âme n'est que fard et maquillage. Je vais regarder tes autre vidéos, car ton choix de reprises fait chaud au coeur d'un "ainé".

There must be an abundance of fabulous players there, I would love to spend time there checking out the many wonderful players. But I want to ask you then, have you ever seen Bireli Lagrene? I love his playing.

@cgptony11 yes I am from Paris France. i have seen several times Bireli Lagrene , he really is a great guitarist and musician , in fact he is not a guitarist he is the guitar itself !!

One day I had time before my own gig to see his concert , so can you imagine in what mood i was after seeing the greatest ??! I did not play well , i crashed my guitar in front of the audience after two songs and went back home , thinking i have too much work to do to be an honest guitarist.

So he called Larry Carlton and Told him Gino Vannelli called looking for me but didn't leave a number, can you help me? He goes on to say Larry called someone and got Gino's phone number who just happened to be recording the Brother To Brother album, recommended Carlos and the rest is History...

In his 1993 video "Feel The Music" Carlos Rios speaks of how he got the Gino Vannelli gig. He said that at the time he was taking lessons from Larry Carlton.

Anyway, a friend of Carlo's called his house and Carlos's mom answered the phone. He asked Carlos's mom to tell Carlos he wanted to stop by to pick up his Gino Vannelli record. So when Carlos got home, his mom said, "Gino Vannelli called looking for you, but he didn't leave a phone number."
