But could someone please tell me what the hell is up with guards (indoor and outdoor) doing all of the unnecessary guttural shouting and crap at impact points, especially on the catch of tosses. It's annoying, distracting and completely ruins the overall effect of what would otherwise be a perfectly good show.

I went to a show yesterday, and a certain guard had an amazing show... but they kept on shouting, like you said, at unnecessary points.

They ever were saying things like "Get it abby! You got it boy!" stupid shit.

It was distracting an unnecessary.

in my guard we do it in practice to make sure everyone stays together. at least theyre not shouting numbers, thats way worse

Holy crap. I don't think I've ever seen a guard do their show and run it as good as that run was. The ending flag is the best part. You are all as one during it and you're all on the right counts and it looks AMAZING. Way to go Apex. You guys are AWESOME.

She just had a baby! She doesn't teach anymore because of the baby, but it was probably interesting to watch her spin while pregnant. I graduated back in '06.

Apex was World Class that season and we did the Richmond, Trenton and Syracuse Regionals that year besides WGI championships - this performance was from our local circuit (TIA) Championships.

i adore this show. ive watched this video umteenmillion times. i miss indoor guard soo much. Imogen Heap is a great choice for a song. The ending flag work is amazing. i acutally think i saw them in wildwood that year. i had a friend in Bpex. Micheal Hope yea i dont know if he still does Bpex though. Amazing show though. It's not hugely hard...everybody and their mom throws ensemble doubles and triples on flag. When I was in Angel year (Legacy HS 2006 SO) we had an ensemble turn around double that was great fun to do.

and there's only an age limit for independent open & indpendent A divisions - i believe the limit is 23?
