uninstall everything from Caterpillar, uninstall Caterpillar itself, then the hack to activate it. Since caterpillar is no longer active, you will have to just use the new one, "Kate"

How Should we use the file? Because in the Source they just show the 1.2.1 version of Caterpillar.... so with that one the hack didn't work. Wich file should we use and where should we put it in the iPod using SSH? we need to be in a MAC or in a Windows, please help us to use the file downloaded of rapidshare.... Thanx!

No, it shouldn't... if you see a date there, that means the crack wasn't successful..

Make sure you have 1.1.1 version of Caterpillar, and if you have that version, install the crack file a few more times. It should work.

hey, i put caterpillar through winscp, ssh'd it. and installed the RIP dev crack, but when i click on the caterpillar icon, it shows me the bug but it takes me back to springboard, any ideas?

So you actually only need this, instead of two...

then go to caterpillar and make sure that ONLY facelift is highlighted in light blue and has a check by it after click apply then restart then do into your settings and go into rip dev and then into caterpillar and if the the license isn't unlimited then reinstall the rip dev and all should work

first uninstall summerboard then when you are installing the caterpillar (which has to be 1.1.1) put in the 2 sources FIRST (double check that they are right) then when you go to install caterpillar click ADD TO QUEUE and then when you install r.i.p dev click install.

how do i remove (unimstall) ripdev? i uninstalled both packages with installer but ripdev is still in my settings and i get a DejaVu message everytime i restart my ipod

Found out that the seven files is needed by installer to install it, i only need the Caterpillar.app folder, right?

The reason i wrote that comment was beacause caterpillar wont start, it freezes at the picture of that bug.

You can find a rapidshare link in About This Video from where you can download Caterpillar 1.1.1, download the zip file and install it to your phone via SSH or iBrickr.

Before you do that, UNINSTALL 1.2!!

When you got in installed, just install RiP Dev (crack file) and you will be able to use Caterpillar 1.1.1... Good luck.

Maybe because you installed 1.2 version of Caterpillar... this crack is for Caterpillar 1.1.1, and I don't know how to crack 1.2 yet.

Yes, some phones can have that problem... if you paid $50 for unocking, you are an idiot, because it costs 2 clicks on your phone... do a restore in iTunes, and search youtube for videos with "Ziphone" and you'll learn how to unlock your phone.

Yes, that could happen also, happend to a friend of mine... sometimes it can happen with some phones... try to watch the Hint video, and listen to my advices.

Caterpillar is working hardly if SummerBoard is installed...

I don't know the exact reason of why some phones crash after installing Caterpillar, and why some work without any problems, but I'll try to find that out too.

Try reinstalling it a few times, it should work, that's my only smart advice at this moment.
