@marty16425 Hey, thanks, man! That's a very nice comment. :) To be honest, I don't know why Maura wasn't hitting the higher notes. I think she wanted to make the song more her own. Personally, I didn't wanna scream in the chorus either and decided to keep the song a little bit more mellow.

Male Voice - I'm assuming that you've never had any vocal training; your voice is raw. But your voice can be stronger... and I think with time and more practice you can get better in a short time frame.

Female voice - I can hear the straining in your voice. It's nearly out of your range, and you're singing from your throat. Think up while you're singing and your voice should be coming from your diaphragm. (You can feel it at the top of your mouth if you're doing this properly)

@chelseykwok88 Overall, I don't think this song really suits either of your voices, and your voices don't blend well together. The whole concept of doing a duet with someone is to essentially become one with your voices and blend into a perfect harmony. While your attempted harmonies were done pretty well, the fact that your voices don't match took away from the song altogether.

Okay so while I'm saying all this, this can be considered a tough song to cover, so I'll give you props for trying :)

Being this is my favorite band its hard for me to fair, but I wish Mike that you would show more *pain* or emotion in this song, like you were hurting.
