People should consider the difference between what they want and what they need. You should strive to always have what you need. When you can afford what you want without getting in debt, then you could get what you want. Debt depresses me, so I only get what I need, until I can afford what I want.

Flying makes happy. I go out to the plane, do a preflight, double check the checklist, get in, do another checklist, taxiing to runup and do another checklist, taxi out to the runway, do another checklist, and then take off and go fly over the freeway and look at all the little people stuck in rush hour traffic in their luxury cars while I'm flying 3,000' above them at 115 mph in $20,000 airplane. To be honest, to explain what makes me happy, Id have to start what makes me unhappy. Physical things "New toys" might entertain for a while, but get old. Enough toys and they get draining and depressing.. Now what makes me happy is meeting interesting people and connecting with them. I find that true friendships have an effect on both people that manifest in physical ways..
What truly makes me depressed is that people are growing closed off and disconnected from one another, :(

Flying makes happy. I go out to the plane, do a preflight, double check the checklist, get in, do another checklist, taxiing to runup and do another checklist, taxi out to the runway, do another checklist, and then take off and go fly over the freeway and look at all the little people stuck in rush hour traffic in their luxury cars while I'm flying 3,000' above them at 115 mph in $20,000 airplane. That doesn't just make me happy, it makes me feel powerful, and superior, if not like a God.
