  • awsome

  • very very nice :)

  • @Jamesteng1

    Thank you Jamesteng1

    aloha

  • Very nice show, Taimane. A little too much show (what concerns my own taste), but nowaday's crowd needs show (and I do not represent the crowd. :D ). Tico Tico is one of my favourites, and you play it really well. 5/5

  • Thank you. I know what you mean ie; showmanship.

No need to over do it......a balance is best. Music + show time.

......Give an interesting performance but also make sure the music is the top priority. I'm still working on blending those two things.

My manager suggests that some songs be theatrical and some not.

Tico fits more into the theatrical category because there is a ("Matador") feel to it.

Thanks for the feedback. It helps define the balance I need to find. Mahalo

  • You remind me of a matador a little when you play.

  • That is a HUGE compliment. Thank you so much. I am thinking about emphasizing it even more. I don't want to look like a show off but I think it is theatrical and I think the crowd would enjoy it. What do u think?

  • Go for it ! Check out what some of the old Vaudeville performers did, they used to really play it up.

  • ok mahalo

  • amazing! that end pose was brilliant.

  • And a big thank you for telling me.

  • Great performance!

Tico tico is a brazilian, not flamenco song. Its a style named "Chorinho".

  • Thank you very, very much. I want to know the history and story of my songs.

  • great performance with good moves on stage... despite all the moths/cotton fluff/stuff blowing around on the stage. Very very professional. mahalo

  • Yeah, what was all that stuff floating around anyway?

  • .wonderful! and smooth :)

  • Mahalo plenty.

  • ho sista...was that a ..(omg wtf a bug hit my head) move in the beggining?.......i like the way you work it from a slow pace to the frantic signature sound of tico tico. the little variations u do keep it fresh...pretty smooth

  • Thank you so much for noticing the details. Very much appreciated.

  • a master at play...wonderful!

  • Mahalo. It is a theatrical song and fun to perform.

  • 1st - :D

    gracefull moves.

  • Well that was certainly a nice thing to say. Thanks!
