I think axe sucks, murrays and dax is really hard to wash out, suavecito is a cheap knockoff of layrite and grant's golden brand, layrite is good but it has no sheen or shine which is the soul and essence of a pomp or your hair and it hardens like a gel, if your gonna use a water soluble product use layrite, if your going to use product that's hard to wash out at least use American Greaser supply pomade!! :D

Maybe you're hair is not suited for brilliantine, maybe you need something stronger to keep it in place, like a pomade that should do the job because brilliantine is a light product used for shine, you could always use both brilliantine and pomade I do and it works great :).
