Thanks a lot man! Ya, im playing a strat although its not hot rodded yet. Only thing i changed was some locking tuning heads so far. I plan on gettin a seymour duncan or a hot rodded p.a.f. to get that classic van halen sound.Mannn....i love that sound eddie got on the first album!!!! Thannk you so much!!
Yeah, if you're thinking of hot-rodding it, may I suggest the Dimarzio Fast Track 2? It looks like a single coil, but it has rails, which basically means a humbucker in a single coil sized package. I just installed it into my strat and it sound AMAZING!
