I met a 17 year old boy today who had Leigh's Disease. He was so sweet and affectionate. He couldn't walk or speak, but he had such a loving personality. How in the world could anyone dislike such a beautiful little girl? Its because of people like that, that makes me want to be a Special Ed teacher. Just because someone has a disorder or disability doesn't mean they aren't as human as any other person. If you ask me, anyone who speaks so meanly about someone like Eva is the inhuman one.
@kianamattick how could you not be proud of her! statistics show that she shouldnt survive through her 3rd birthday. she is beating the odds and is 6 noww!! you are so ignorant. If you dont like the video why did you even watch it in the first place. You have no respect for other people and i pray for you because you need some serious help!

It is people like you that don't deserve to know the blessings that come through having a child like Eva and every other child that has to deal with illnesses such as these. My son was diagnosed with Complex II Deficiency. He is my Blessing from God. as is Eva to her parents. I feel sorry for the ignorance you carry in your heart. I have nothing but admiration for this girl and her parents.

i have lost 2 daughters through leigh's syndrome. eva is OMG sooo intellegent .. she reminds me of my second daughter called parysa...
eva is simply amazing......... loads of prayer for her and and her parents who are doing the best ...
