No it's a complete Bub 2-1 system, fully ceramic coated internally and externally. The system gave excellent results on the dyno. I will be making a new vid next month as I have made other chnges to the bike now,
Awesome sound. More warrior, less barbarian. I'm not into that ridiculous loud sound either. I don't want the whole neighborhood to know that I'm going out for a ride OR coming home late from one. Even though, like you say it's not as loud, it's still a beauifuly sound.
Thanks Dave for the quick response,I am going with the ABS, and mid controls,it looks more like January for delivery.I will try and get over to the UK (Birmingham) beforehand, see what I can get hold of.Are you happy with the LED,s?
I am in Afghanistan right now,not much call for aftermarket stuff here.
Hi all, where can I get the turn signal grips, hope to get my NRS soon (oct) does anyone know if the ABS is worth it? I live in Buenos Aires pop over to uk when I need to. very nice bike, well done!!
I'm buying one of these bikes next year, sucks to have to wait but those are the ropes, absolutely love some of the things you did, mid controls is a great idea, I would say that out of all the exhausts I have been looking at the way yours sounds is the best, great job man.
WOW! I love the bike. I just got a 2010 Night Rod myself. I have a 28" inseem and the forward controls really stretch me. I want to put mid controls on like what you have. Was this a kit or your personnal modification? Either way can you give me some guidance so I to can set this up like your's. Again Awsome bike! PS I will have the 2 in to 1 CR pipe with tuner.
@hiltenauto Mid controls from Vmod . The mids are great and I find more comfortable, Highway pegs gone and now made some crash mushrooms instead. New vid of recent mods coming soon.
@knliebe Mid controls from Vmod, about 500+ pounds from states, a lot of the parts are genuine Harley and you'll struggle to build a kit of this quality cheaper. The mids are great and I find more comfortable, Highway pegs gone and now made some crash mushrooms instead. New vid of recent mods coming soon.
For this vid I had replaced the 2.5" fluted inner tube for a 2.25" perforated tube, this was wrapped with a 5mm layer of stainless steel wire wool and then wrapped in a high quality wadding. The result was a deeper non raspy note that wasn't as loud. Today I've built a new inner perforated tube incorporating an short expansion section. Bike sound better in garage, hopefully road test 2moz.
Hi can you sit on the bike and post a video.. want to see how much do the mid controls change the riding positions. I ride a vstar 1300 and am considering the night rod special.. but just feel that the front controls might be a bit too far for me.. so like to see your mid controls..
no picture yet but I can tell you that I love the mids, I am 5'9" and 32" inside leg and they are very comfortable. I have since put reduced reach highway pegs on the front just so I have a choice but as yet haven't used them,
You have such a nice bike mate, the best of Harleys.

What "other mods" did you do to the Rinehart 2 into 1? I'm leaning that direction now for my 2009 VRSCDX and I like the sound!!
