I have seen a lot of musicians cover "Time" and while some do it well, no one ever gets the guitar quite right. Gilmour gives it a foreboding, sinister edge that I have yet to hear captured elsewhere. Magnificent song and performance.

@dualgan I know the passion you have but they are synonymous, I really like Rogers writing,,, and yes I play guitar so I am partial to David Gilmore,, I watched a reunion they had a rare interview and they don't hate each other,,, they just can't agree all the time. I wish them both the best and you should check out Rogers version of Pink and yes it too kicks Butt! Class of 79

the solo in time is just beautiful.the way that he improvises and departs from the original studio solo... i suppose you have to know the studio solo well to fully appreciate how he changes and adds to it in this performance...

@hedzzz You are right. Its an amazing solo and the live versions with Davids improvising is so over the top awsome. This is almost as good as the pulse version. But yes PF is the best and David Gilmour is one of the best guitarists ever.
