Hey it works nicely; reduce the diameter of the coil which we are hanging above the cell through the safety pin and also use strong magnet.
rubber band is used to just hold the safety pins; you can replace this by any adhesives tapes.

Is there any particular reason why you use bicycle tube rubber bands? Will just regular store bought rubber bands work well too?

im making one exactly like this...but im not sure y it is not spinning...i did 3 turns to make the coil...but my magnet is not very strong...do i need a stronger magnet to make it work?
