why use 770? Get a mini laptop. It cost about the same, but laptops are much more easy to use and comfortable.

i think its a good idea in a sense that you can protect the "770" which is the main source and can be protected via the case. VEry portable bcuz the other items are more expendable if that makes any sense.

One thing is missing for an ethernet connecting, add a small wireless router for utp connectivity, then n770 can connect via wifi on this router to ethernet, another advantage is switch and sharing the net..

i have always liked the idea of this video, i used to own the sony ux 180p but always wished the screen was better protected. so now that the vulcan flipstart is on sale i have ordered an external keyboard, mouse, usb hub and will be putting my own laptop video project together.

Hey, I have a question

I was wondering, I got the 770, a mini or micro or whatever adapter from the 770 port to a female usb and I'm waiting for my keyboard. Will hooking up the keyboard like that just work? Do I need an external power to make it work?

I tried my pen drive on the adapter with the 770 and it didn't work, I expected as much because it needs drivers, but I'm not sure about the case of the keyboard with it. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

i am sure if you threw some of your gadgets on ebay you'd raise the money pretty quick. my best subnotebook is still a panasonic toughbook cf-m34(10 inch screen). its not powerful but it's pretty much indestructable and the touchscreen is handy. i am new to youtube but will begin posting some gadget videos myself in the coming weeks. keep up the good work.

I tried the ultra-portable UX at CES and was impressed, but don't have the money for the amount of machine it provides currently. Plus I don't like the style and prefer slimmer slates or sliders like the OQO 02.
