this was not meant for posting, I was trying to get hand positions to learn the chords. but some one kept shaking the table. Since the audio is clear I posted it. there re many other versions of this same show that others have posted.
The sound is good so I posted it. Sad that people have to whine and sweat over the little things LOL

I don't see why there's so much whining about it. The original tune has a horn line! They're in NY where their friend Mark Rivera lives, so they invite him to sit in for the fun of it. I think it's a cool unique moment, and I don't think Mark over played it at all. Very tasteful IMO. Thanks for sharing.
huh, go figure...we had a sax player in our band for 3 years. Sax is kinda like vocals, so when the vocalist is singin, the sax man should take a step back. maybe just accents, but to play throughout and over everything is kinda of annoying. Nothing against sax players. I love hearing a good sax player.
Cool that you saw thier soundcheck! they are great musicians!

It really misses the mandolin part. And I loved the toy piano in the original, very cool idea.

This version, IMO, rivals that of the original done by Seals and Crofts.

God I HATE saxophones. Why in hell would they throw a sax on this tune? That fucked it all up.

why do sax players have to step all over everything?

Blame the FOH tech more than the sax player. With a proper FOH mix, the sax would be a little less pronounced except when needed.

@ShimaDon cause sax is an accent instrument AND a lead insrtument.

That would explain it. Thanks for posting it, it's still a great performance.
